Assistant Regional Replenishment Center (RRC) Manager

Job Summary The Regional Replenishment Center (RRC) Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the RRC Manager in managing the operation at one of our established wholesale HVAC distributorships that carry multiple brands of equipment, parts and supplies. The goal of this role is to successfully manage the daily operations specific to receiving, put away, team building, coaching, accurately shipping all shipments, and the overall standards of the floor and racking ie: product is flush to the line and/or the racks, product is allocated in the proper zone, items a accurately being received in the correct locations, consolidation and replenishments are being practiced daily, etc. all while continuously improving service and reducing errors. The role of the Assistant Manager is that of a working manager and you must lead by example by setting the bar and proving that it can be met. Essential Duties/Accountabilities Supervise all daily functions of the regional replenishment center; focused on in-bound and out-bound shipments, put-away and replenish. Walking the warehouse daily, focusing on identifying obstacles and opportunities that may have an effect on the daily operation Auditing all shipments before they ship. Inspecting to ensure correct items are being shipped, quantities shipped, and potential damages. Eliminating Variances altogether. Researching any missing items to minimize locked locations and keeping our fill rate up. Communicating with the RRC manager as well as with the Branch if there is any issue with their shipment. Maintain a professional demeanor with vendors, fellow employees, service centers and all other individuals you may interact with. Responsible for maintaining a 24 hour receipt process. Focused on ensuring all receipts are checked against paperwork, received into the system and put-away within 24 hours of receipt. Having a close relationship with the Support Specialist and the Inventory Control specialist to ensure that all issues with in-bound shipments are addressed promptly. Responsible for ensuring any damages, shortages and overages are correctly notated and processed into our system. Working with accounts payable and vendors to fix reoccurring issues and also ensure no errors occur at time of receipt. Responsible for daily responses to our service centers. Focused on working with service centers when service levels are missed, product issues (shortages, damages, etc.), lead-time adjustments based on holidays as well as responding to daily service center requests. Responsible for managing our flow of inbound shipments. Working with carriers to adjust delivery times, appointment schedules and volume throughout the season. Direct and participate in the bin location maintenance of all areas of the distribution center. Focused on slotting, consolidation, min and max maintenance, pick sequencing and reorganizing Coordinate Distribution Center training and Company/Center events. Responsible for reports and reporting processes: Locked locations Unposted receipts Items on MU's HD/WM out of balance Open ASNs Rebalance transfers Replens Transfer variances Ensure warehouse equipment including but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks, wrap machines, etc. are maintained on a regular basis. Communicate and train Warehouse personnel on Company policies and safety procedures. Ensuring all employees are working in a safe manner when handling product, moving throughout the warehouse or using Company equipment. Ensure there are no distractions ie: no cell phones, ear pieces, etc. on the RRC Floor. Communicate with daily meetings to the team on what the expectations are for the day and where we are throughout the day to reach our goals. Follow up with all associates on their assigned tasks and hold them accountable when required. Ensure proper training of personnel, specific to handling product. All employees should be trained on how much and how product should be picked and packed, in an effort to eliminate product damage. Responsible for monitoring daily damage and maintaining our damage pending lists Working with service centers and corporate to help move damaged product Follow up with all associates and know what everyone is doing and where they are at all times. Ensure breaks, lunches, and restroom breaks are not being abused Conduct him/herself in a professional and courteous manner in all aspects of interaction with contractors, customers and employees. Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training and leading a diversified work force. Minimum 5+ years operational experience within the wholesale/distribution/logistics industry required. Experience preferably in the operations of a wholesale HVAC equipment supply house. Experience in shipping, logistics, operations, warehousing and inventory management required. Experience in OSHA, DOT and EPA regulatory requirements preferred. Experience leading a large team within a distribution center is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills, including sales, problem‑solving, and customer service. Proficient in Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to manage and mentor employees while establishing and achieving the distribution center's business goals. Warehouse Associate responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing and scanning orders. About the Role: As a Director of Transmission & Distribution Services, you will be responsible for overseeing transmission and distribution operations. Responsibilities will include setting the direction for the teams, the overall quality and timeliness of work produced, monitoring short-term and long-term workload, group adherence to standards and procedures, coaching and developing employees, sponsoring initiatives for process improvements, and client management and new client development. This role will also be involved in business development across the U.S. to obtain clients and projects for transmission and distribution engineering. What You Will Be Doing: Ability to maintain transmission and distribution client relationships and develop new ones Manage/supervise transmission and distribution engineers and designers across multiple regional offices Assist with building of teams across multiple offices by helping to identify and interview candidates Assist with opening of new regional offices Oversee the development of internal transmission and distribution engineering standards, processes, and procedures Participate in strategic growth planning and company initiatives, which may include establishing business strategies and objectives Ability to support the roles and responsibilities of the transmission and distribution engineering manager, when necessary Assist with developing and achieving transmission and distribution engineering annual revenue and growth goals What You Bring: BS or MS in Engineering (required) Minimum 15 years of experience in a combination of transmission and distribution engineering, utility consulting, project management, and business development (required) Professional engineering licensure (required) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred) Experience managing staff and projects as a project manager and/or client lead Ability to travel up to 20% and work outside normal business hours Excellent written and communication skills Ability to communicate technical matters in an understandable and efficient manner Ability to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy So...Why Join Us?
