C3 Trucking - Jacksonville, FL

Regional Dedicated Drivers Regional position where driver is going to pick up the load from Distribution Center and deliver to warehouses or retail stores where they will unload the appliances off the rear of the trailer using hand trucks and pallet jacks. Drivers will operate in the states of Florida, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina Sun to Fri or Mon to Sat. Only Sunday and Saturday work is leaving out or returning to domicile. Start range Sunday night or Monday morning - Driver's start time is based on delivery time and location of first stop. Drivers may be on morning shifts or night shifts. Driver will need to be flexible. Responsible for unloading appliances (stoves, refrigerators, microwaves, dishwashers) out of the trailer at each delivery location. Each trailer will have on average 3-8 stops where driver will off load an appliance Appliances can weight up to 800 lbs. and will either be unloaded with pallet jack or hand truck Required to count each appliance at every stop. Once unloaded, will be responsible for ensuring the load can safely travel for the remainder of the trip and for ensuring all paperwork is complete and accurate. Backhauls and returns at the store level are required.
