Enterprise Applications Architect (Oracle Cloud)

Acosta Group is seeking a seasoned Enterprise Applications Architect (Oracle) to lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Oracle’s cloud-based Fusion and Integration solutions. This role is pivotal in aligning technology with HR business strategies, ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant implementations. Ideal candidates will be located within commutable distance to Acosta Group Offices in Lewisville, TX (Dallas) or Jacksonville, FL. RESPONSIBILITIES Solution Design & Architecture: Design scalable and robust Enterprise solutions aligned with business goals and industry best practices. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution blueprints. Implementation & Configuration: Lead the design and Architecture of Enterprise modules and/or third-party integrations including HR, Recruiting, Compensation and UKG (third-party). Ensure optimal system performance and user experience. Business Analysis: Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define workflows, and recommend process improvements. Serve as a trusted advisor on HR technology strategy. Integration & Data Migration: Oversee integrations between enterprise systems using Cloud architecture. Architect data migration activities ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance. Security & Compliance: Architect role-based access controls (RBAC) and ensure adherence to data privacy regulations and industry standards. Troubleshooting & Support: Act as the lead for Architectural design and system enhancements. Technical Project Management: Lead end-to-end Enterprise projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams and vendors. Manage Technical delivery timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications. Documentation: Develop technical documentation, and best practice guidelines. Strategic and Technical Leadership: Define long-term architectural strategies and short-term tactical plans for Enterprise systems. Provide architectural guidance to analysts, developers, and project teams. Conduct research on emerging technologies and recommend innovations to enhance flexibility and cost-efficiency. Model business and system processes using use cases, workflow diagrams, and data models. Minimum Education & Work Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, HR Technology, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred. Oracle Fusion certifications are a plus. Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements: Minimum 8 years of experience in Solutions Architecture or related field. At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Enterprise Application implementations. Proven track record in leading full lifecycle enterprise projects. Expertise in Enterprise/Corporate Business Applications Experience with third-party integrations is a plus (UKG). Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Leadership experience in managing teams and projects. Site Investigation & Due Diligence includes the review of ordinances, utility service research, outside agency regulations and site visits to establish comprehensive development guidelines. Preparation of Concept Drawings based upon client’s development objectives and conclusions of due diligence. Involves preparation of concept plan, including coordination with AutoCAD draftsmen. Leadership role in the review and design of Stormwater Management & Stormwater Conveyance Systems including use of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Hydrology design software. Skills should include preparation of pipe sizing calculations for stormwater conveyance systems including drainage area maps. Surface runoff coefficients, invert, slope, velocity & hydraulic grade line evaluation using the Rational Method & Manning’s Equation. Knowledge of local stormwater management design regulations. Grading Design to ensure value engineering is achieved through earthwork analysis, and site safety is accomplished through the use of appropriate design slopes. Subdivision and site plan design and layout. Design of Utility Systems including stormwater conveyance, sanitary sewer service, pump station design, water, gas, telephone service, etc. Also involves determination and resolution of vertical and horizontal utility conflicts that may exist. Soil Erosion & Sediment Control Design including stability calculations, Best Management Practices, swale design, spillway design, and determination of construction sequence. Preparation of Construction Cost Estimates based upon site plan drawings as required for bonding and client purposes. Ability to work independently, as well as, lead other engineers in a team environment. Prepare proposals to provide professional services. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. 7+ years of related experience. Engineer in Training required. Professional Engineer license (as required) preferred. Valid driver’s license preferred. Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions. Demonstrate general computer skills, knowledge and acumen (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite). Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and other related software packages, as applicable. Knowledge of the local municipal, county and state land use, planning and zoning processes and regulations.
