R&D Mechanical Engineer – LV (Level I- Sr.)

Position Summary The R&D Mechanical Engineer (Level I-Sr.) is responsible for collaborating or leading the design, testing and certification of innovative electrical power products in collaboration with a diverse team of electrical, mechanical and manufacturing engineers. This role requires a strong intuition of fundamental engineering concepts across multiple disciplines and an ability to effectively manage the product development process under limited direction. Key Responsibilities Collaborate in ensuring the execution and implementation of the New Product Introduction (NPI) engineering work for assigned projects. Collaborate with Senior and Lead Engineers in writing detailed engineering specifications and developing concept drawings in collaboration with Sales and other stakeholders. Help in the coordination with Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories (NRTLs) to define product evaluation and certification scope. Lead the creation of detailed design drawings, 3D models and bills of material for prototype equipment and test articles. Develop and document test plans according to the relevant standards. Common tests include full-load temperature rise, dielectric and BIL, short-circuit and withstand current, mechanical endurance, component failure, environmental, functional and seismic shake-table tests. Support the testing process at in-house and third-party laboratories. Travel up to 20% to support testing and other product development tasks in-person. Evaluate test results and revise designs based on empirical data and established engineering concepts. Characterize the electrical, thermal and mechanical performance of common design elements through testing, simulation and/or analytical methods. Develop standard design criteria and models. Work closely with manufacturing engineering to implement Design for Manufacturability (DFM) concepts throughout the new product development process. Working with Mechanical Designers, Conduct failure analyses of existing products and identify opportunities for continuous improvement Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience designing low and/or medium voltage power distribution equipment or related products. BSME or equivalent in experience. Experience with NRTL (UL, CSA, etc.) evaluation, testing and certification processes. Experience with common standards for electrical equipment (UL 891, 1558, 508A; IEEE C37.20, etc.) Design Experience using SolidWorks to produce 3D models is highly preferred. Strong Technical Capability Solid grasp of three-phase electric power concepts, power distribution systems, power control and protection strategies is preferred. Excellent communication and technical writing skills. Must be a team player with strong verbal/written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with precise attention to detail. Competencies Experience mentoring and guiding junior engineers preferred. Experience working in a design-to-order or custom engineering environment is strongly preferred. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with medium voltage switchgear, utility systems, or the power industry is preferred. Proficiency in sheet metal design, including manufacturability and cost optimization. Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Pro E; Finite Element Analysis (FEA) experience is a plus. Knowledge of IEEE/ANSI C37.20, UL891/1558 design guidelines and NFPA70E are desirable. Position Summary The Director, Revenue Cycle is responsible for managing the day–to–day activities as it relates to full revenue cycle functions, which include billing, account receivables, payment posting, and data analysis. This role is also responsible for the development and implementation of current and future strategies, along with minimizing bad debt, improving cash flow and managing the overall health of the company’s receivables. Duties and Responsibilities Manage staff performance by providing regular feedback, QA and productivity metrics, performance reviews, and using data to drive revenue cycle efficiencies. Enhance and standardize workflow processes throughout the revenue cycle process, to assist in achieving consistency in maintaining the critical success factors for the revenue cycle department. Compiles and prepares various status reports to analyze trends and make recommendations. Monitors timeliness and effectiveness of department activities, ensuring that outstanding account receivables are consistent with contracted standards. Prepare revenue cycle financial analysis including aged accounts. Monitor and assess KPI’s in order to improve efficiency. Oversees and ensures completion of payor enrollment process for new and current providers. Supervision and monitoring of all outsourced RCM workforce which includes setting goals, follow up and delivering tangible results. Other duties as assigned. Experience, Skills and Education College degree in accounting/business management preferred. Five years or more in medical billing management or relevant revenue cycle management experience required. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point.
