Accounts Receivable Specialist Position Summary The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate billing, timely collections, cash application, and customer account maintenance. This position plays a critical role in maintaining positive cash flow and supporting the financial health of the organization. The Accounts Receivable Specialist reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and works closely with project managers, operations personnel, accounting staff, customers, and other stakeholders across multiple departments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Prepare and process customer invoices, progress billings, time and material billings, retainage billings, and final billings. • Monitor accounts receivable aging and proactively follow up on outstanding balances. • Maintain accurate customer account records and resolve billing discrepancies. • Apply customer payments and reconcile accounts receivable transactions. • Oversee lien waiver tracking, release documentation, and collection efforts. • Coordinate with Project Managers and Operations personnel to ensure billing accuracy and timely invoice submission. • Review contract requirements related to billing, payment terms, retainage, and supporting documentation. • Generate and distribute weekly and/or monthly accounts receivable reports, aging reports, collection status reports, and other financial analyses as requested by management. • Research and resolve customer payment issues and disputes in a professional and timely manner. • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts receivable. • Support audits by providing requested documentation and account reconciliations. • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned. • Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information. Required Qualifications * Minimum of three (3) years of accounts receivable experience. • Minimum of two (2) years of construction accounting experience, preferably with a subcontractor, contractor, or construction-related business. • Strong understanding of construction billing processes, including progress billing, retainage, lien waivers, and contract compliance. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. • Ability to collaborate effectively within the Accounting Department and across departments. *Job Summary* Krebs Land Development is seeking an experienced *Drill Rig Operator* to support our land development and geotechnical operations. This role involves safely and efficiently operating sonic, auger, and core drilling equipment to perform exploratory borings, sampling, and monitoring installations throughout Florida and Georgia. The ideal candidate brings hands-on drilling experience, strong mechanical skills, and a safety-first mindset. *Duties* * Operate and maintain sonic, auger, and other drilling rigs to complete boreholes (50+ ft and deeper as required) * Perform daily pre- and post-operation inspections, routine maintenance, and minor equipment repairs * Collect high-quality soil and rock core samples and maintain accurate drilling logs (depth, materials, groundwater, obstructions) * Install monitoring wells, piezometers, and casing as specified * Follow all company safety policies, environmental regulations, and site-specific procedures * Conduct hazard assessments and actively work toward a zero-incident safety culture * Collaborate with geotechnical teams, surveyors, and project staff to meet deadlines * Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs with mechanics when needed * Maintain daily production records and communicate progress to supervisors * Support other crews or projects as needed during non-drilling periods *Safety & Environmental Responsibilities* * Follow all Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies and regulatory requirements [ * Perform risk assessments and implement hazard controls * Report incidents and assist with safety investigations * Participate in safety training and support continuous improvement initiatives *Qualifications Required* * 2–5 years of experience operating drill rigs (sonic drilling strongly preferred) * Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability * Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and physically demanding conditions * High school diploma or equivalent * Clean driving record and ability to pass background and drug screening *Preferred* * Familiarity with Florida and Georgia geology and drilling conditions * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drilling plans, and geotechnical reports * Technical certifications or training in drilling or heavy equipment *What We Offer* * Competitive hourly pay based on experience * Overtime opportunities * Stable, full-time work across diverse projects * Opportunity for growth within a rapidly expanding company * Safety-focused work environment Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Education: * High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: * Operating Drill Rig: 2 years (Required) Ability to Commute: * Palatka, FL 32177 (Required) Work Location: In person
