What You'll Do Project Planning & Execution Support project planning, preparation, and execution for water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects. Apply technical knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and logistics to support field operations. Collaboration & Leadership Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams to support project milestones and deliverables. Experience with the FREEDOM Variant of the Littoral Combat ship is a plus, as it experience with Ship Constructor 3D Modeling. The In-Service Ship Design (ISSD) Ship Repair Designer will be a subject matter expert (SME) in a major ship building discipline such as piping/mechanical, hull/structure, or electrical and have experience across the disciplines. They will provide drafting support for the marine engineering and design work in support the maintenance and modernization of naval warships. This work will include creating and maintaining AutoCAD drawings to support design specifications and documentation requirements of ship maintenance, modernization, and repair. The Draftsman will be expected to participate in planning projects and translate the engineer’s direction into electronic drawings and coordinate with all stakeholders affected by the design. Travel will be required to a ship’s location for planning and execution support (estimated 15 – 30%). This person shall support the ISSD organization in the following manner: 1. Create and modify AutoCAD drawings; 2. Assist in updating and maintaining released documents; 3. Perform required product updates; 4. Maintain accurate product documentation and work instructions 5. Provides technical support; 6. Manage database information; 7. Work alternate non-standard/overtime hours and on-call service as required. 8. Disinfect frequently touched surfaces such as countertops, light switches, doorknobs, toilets, faucets, sinks, phones, keyboards, etc. Washes bathroom, kitchen, classroom and other windows (inside and outside) and walls using approved solution as scheduled or needed. Shampoo or steam-clean carpets/rugs as scheduled or needed Dusts, washes and sanitizes other surfaces as specified in schedule. Refills paper towel, tissue, toilet paper and hand soap in all dispensers. Inventory control of all cleaning supplies, including ordering and receiving supplies. Ensure that safety and health procedures are followed as directed by Center Manager and/or established policy. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and machinery to prevent damage to floors and/or injury to self. Perform routine inspection and regular upkeep of interior areas to ensure areas are free of safety hazards and other foreign materials.
