Job Summary: The Project Analyst serves as the financial backbone of Comfort Temp's project operations, focused entirely on analyzing cost and profitability of HVAC and mechanical contracting projects from estimate through closeout. Working alongside Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Operations Managers, this role tracks job costs against budgets, surfaces margin risks early, and delivers the analysis and reporting that helps project teams make faster, better-informed decisions. Key Responsibilities: • Job Costing & Cost Tracking: Monitor labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, and overhead costs against project budgets across the full project portfolio. Maintain accurate job-cost detail in the ERP/accounting system. Track change orders and scope adjustments. Validate cost coding and flag misallocations before they distort project margins. • Profitability Analysis: Produce project-level profitability analysis including gross margin, cost-to-complete, and estimate-vs-actual variance reporting. Build and maintain WIP schedules and percentage-of-completion analysis in partnership with the finance team. Identify margin erosion, cost overruns, and underbilling/overbilling. • Partnership with Project & Operations Teams: Serve as the primary analytical partner to PMs, APMs, and Operations Managers on all cost and profitability matters. Lead or support regular job-cost review meetings. As a technician you will be trained and certified to do routine maintenance and troubleshooting on our customers’ equipment. The hours for this position may vary but you will work at least 40 hours a week. And there is overtime. Most calls are completed during day shift, however after training you will be put on an on-call rotation. Responsibilities • Complete petroleum service calls for our customers. This could be at retail gas stations, commercial locations, hospitals, travel stops, and government facilities. • Complete all service call paperwork after each call • Communicate with your service dispatcher and manager • Explain technical issues in a non-technical manner to the customer • Troubleshoot and repairs gasoline dispensing units (such as: Gilbarco, Dresser Wayne, Gasboy, and Bennett) and POS (Point-of-Sale) Systems (such as: VeriFone, Gilbarco and NCR). • Install, program and tests new petroleum equipment and perform scheduled repairs and preventative maintenance to fueling systems. • Analyze electrical and mechanical problems and provide repairs as required. Prepress technician/ Wide Format Operator is responsible for producing materials for publication print production. Able to operate a large flatbed printer to produce high-volume jobs with precision. The requirements are as follows: Problem-solving skills, working in a high demand and fast-paced environment, verbal communication and excellent organizational skills. Attention to detail is a must, as well as being able to prioritize what needs to be done and work autonomously. Applicant will be trained and be able to learn proprietary prepress and wide format software as well as digital printing for commercial printing jobs. Operate and calibrate wide format printer. Preform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs. Able to meet tight deadlines.
