Summary Objective The Sr. Field Quality Manager leads the field execution of quality programs and ensures high standards for workmanship, engineering compliance, documentation, and continuous improvement across projects. This role provides strategic direction and operational oversight to support delivery, installation, and commissioning processes while ensuring Stellar Energy deliverables meet client and regulatory quality requirements. Essential Functions Lead, manage, and mentor Field Quality Engineers and quality personnel at job sites. Establish and enforce field quality inspection programs, procedures, and reporting frameworks. Ensure consistent quality standards are implemented across multiple active projects. Serve as the key quality liaison with clients, EPC partners, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders. Oversee field inspections of modules, materials, and components. Coordinate third-party, customer, and regulatory inspections. Implement and maintain ISO 9001:2015 compliance practices in the field environment. Lead and support internal audits and external certification audits. Drive continuous improvement and lean quality practices. Collaborate with operations, project management, engineering, and procurement teams to mitigate risk. Partner with data analytics resources to provide quality reporting and executive communications. Represent Stellar Energy professionally during client meetings, audits, and site reviews. Step into a day restoring power-generation components When you arrive, you’ll review blueprints and technical specs, plan your sequence, and get hands-on with precision repairs. Most of your day (about 75%) is spent expertly grinding and blending welds and surfaces to meet OEM and customer standards. The remaining time (about 25%) you’ll perform high-precision TIG weld repairs on delicate turbine and generator components, minimizing distortion and maintaining tight tolerances. What you’ll do Repair and manufacture turbine/generator parts, with an emphasis on TIG welding. Grind, blend, and finish welds and surfaces to OEM/customer satisfaction (approximately 75% grinding/blending, 25% welding). Disassemble and reassemble turbine/generator components. Demonstrated skill performing precision welds on thin or delicate parts with minimal distortion. Capability to set up and operate welding equipment independently. Strong mechanical aptitude.
