*Job Summary* We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Die Setter/Press Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various types of metal stamping presses and forming machines to produce high-quality components. You will ensure that all equipment functions efficiently, safety standards are strictly followed, and finished products meet precise specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced production environment where precision, safety, and teamwork are paramount. *Responsibilities* * Set up and calibrate stamping presses, forming machines, and other metal fabrication equipment according to technical drawings and specifications. * Operate CNC laser cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathe, plasma cutting, and electrical discharge machining tools to shape and form metal parts with precision. * Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to ensure accurate production. * Perform tooling changes, machine adjustments, and troubleshooting to optimize machine performance and minimize downtime. * Conduct quality inspections using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools to verify dimensions and adherence to quality standards. * Follow safety protocols rigorously during all machine operations and handling of materials; maintain a clean and organized work area. * Assist with assembly processes as needed, ensuring components fit correctly and meet specifications. *Qualifications* * Proven experience operating press machines such as stamping presses or forming machines in a manufacturing environment. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately. * Skilled in machining techniques including CNC programming, CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, electrical discharge machining, and CNC milling or lathe operations. * Familiarity with shop math, measurement techniques, and quality control procedures. * Ability to operate hand tools, measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers), cranes, forklifts (certification preferred), and other fabrication equipment safely. * Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols at all times. * Basic math skills necessary for precise measurement and fabrication tasks. * Mechanical aptitude combined with strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly.
