Aluminum Welding Supervisor POSITION SUMMARY MUST HAVE SHIPYARD EXPERIENCE - Will be required to oversee all functions pertaining to the Aluminum Welding department. The Aluminum Welding Supervisor ensures the manufacturing process remains smooth and efficient by organizing workflows and monitoring staff. Plans, directs, or coordinates the work activities and resources in the welding department necessary for new construction and repairs in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity specifications. Supervises (including hiring, orienting, training, evaluating, and discharging) the aluminum welders to ensure they receive the training and support required for optimal performance. Maintains up-to-date supervision records on each employee. Completes all staff evaluations and any required staff disciplinary actions as requested and on time.
