Mission Reeves Construction Company is looking for an EXPERIENCED Tailman based out of the St. Augustine, Florida location. This position is responsible for providing support and assistance to the Pipe Layer. The Tailman is responsible for the assembly, connection and construction of pipe systems for storm drains in relation to highway and heavy construction projects. Main Responsibilities Assist pipe layer in the installation of water main and sewers Must have experience in laying water, sewer and storm pipe. Must be able to mix and do concrete work. Perform manual labor involved in assembling heavy construction pipe systems. Guide Excavator Operator in trench excavation. Ability to check trench for safe slopes and correct ladder entrance/exit placement. Hand-shape pipe bedding for proper elevation and alignment. Dig by hand to expose existing pipe and/or utilities in trench area. Inspect pipe to ensure proper jointing can be achieved. Verify installation using lasers and/or levels and grade rods. Compact fill below, around, and above pipe installation. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Candidate must be at least 18 years of age. Six months to one year experience. High school diploma/GED preferred Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures. Able to work independently or as an active member of a team. Have transportation to work daily. Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift

Vaero - Jacksonville, FL 32218

Summary: This is a 2nd shift position. Lead a fabrication, machine shop, and/or assembly team within Vaero Jacksonville to safely produce high-quality aerospace components on schedule and within budget. The Production Supervisor drives operational excellence through proactive leadership, data-driven decision-making, and a continuous improvement mindset, while developing a capable, engaged workforce. Roles & Responsibilities • Lead daily manufacturing operations to meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC). • Monitor performance metrics and proactively identify trends or issues using data analysis and firsthand observation. Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste, improve flow, and increase productivity. • Supervise a team of 20+ hourly employees engaged in sheet metal fabrication, machining, and/or assembly of aerospace products. • Align labor, equipment, and materials to meet the production schedule. Develop staffing and training plans using capacity and demand data to ensure efficient resource utilization. • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with Maintenance and Engineering to minimize equipment downtime and optimize throughput. Leverage Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices and operator involvement. • Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency using tools such as root cause analysis, A3 problem solving, 5S, and process mapping. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Quality, Engineering, Program Management, and Supply Chain to ensure on-time delivery and effective communication of schedule recovery actions when needed. • Coach, develop, and evaluate team members to align with Vaero’s values, performance expectations, and behavioral standards. Foster accountability, engagement, and a culture of respect and inclusion. • Ensure compliance with company policies, AS9100/ISO standards, and regulatory requirements in all production activities. • Administer discipline fairly and consistently in accordance with HR guidelines and company policy when performance or conduct issues arise. • Performs other related duties as required. Demonstrates flexibility and leadership in responding to dynamic production needs and supporting the team to ensure operational success. Qualifications • Minimum 3+ years of manufacturing leadership or production support experience; aerospace or precision manufacturing preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant experience will be considered. • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts constructively. • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a record of data-driven decision making. • Hands-on experience applying Lean and Six Sigma tools in a manufacturing environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems (SAP or equivalent). • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels. • Working knowledge of fabrication processes such as routing, forming, bending, heat treat, straightening, and machining is highly desirable.
