Security Officer - Senior Control Room Operator Job Summary The First Coast Security (FCS) Physical Security Operations Center (PSOC), located within Jacksonville, FL, is the centralized hub for supporting physical security operations, customer service delivery, and real-time threat response across client sites. We are seeking a PSOC Operator who is reliable, detail-oriented, and mission-driven to help protect people, assets, and brand reputation. This is a role designed for individuals with a background in physical security and customer service who are eager to grow within the security technology field. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES: Receives coversheet and assigned cart for each series of orders, logs onto the voice system to begin the voice-directed picking process. Moves the cart through the product bin aisles and picks the corresponding products from product bins, places the correct product and quantity into the cart, placing small items into bags or bands together for easier identification. Verifies product during the picking process and may verify during the packing process. May maintain daily individual production records, which are reviewed by the supervisor, by writing down the time particular tasks are performed. After completing the cart, returns cart to staging area and may begin the process of packing the customer orders by verifying products selected for customer orders and checking off as appropriate on packing lists. Selects appropriately sized boxes or envelopes for shipment to avoid the bending, crushing, or shifting of items during delivery. Packs all orders neatly and correctly in a box to ensure quality. This involves packing glass items appropriately in bubble wrap, placing small items in a bag, and placing all liquids in a bag, and packing the standing upright. Follows proper packing procedures. Reports any error in product selection or quality to appropriate team member or area and/or corrects the order as necessary before shipment. Sends along conveyor system to the appropriate location for packing material to be added and the boxes to be sealed, then places packed customer orders on conveyor system to takes to appropriate location for shipment. Special orders are processed using the special order process. Disposes of empty boxes and packaging appropriately to maintain safe and clean working conditions. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required. Position uses lifting and equipment to load/unload and move large fountain machines/units at customer accounts. Prepares equipment for delivery and maintains all paperwork associated with equipment installation and removal. Installs fountain beverage systems from start to finish. May also assist with moving, storing, and organizing equipment in inventory at the facility. Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise all piping construction activities, including above-ground and underground piping systems installation. Coordinate assigned crews and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution of piping work in compliance with project requirements, specifications, and timelines. Ensure safety, quality, and adherence to project standards while maintaining strong alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. Work closely with the Superintendent and project management team to support coordination across multiple scopes of work on the project site. Manage piping installations for government and military projects, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, regulatory requirements, and safety standards. Interpret drawings, specifications, isometric drawings, and piping layouts to ensure accurate installation and execution. Monitor productivity, manpower, equipment usage, and material coordination to maintain project schedule and budget goals. Required Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED is the preferred minimum formal education for this position and should be supplemented by completion of a Union, private (in-house), military, or trade school apprenticeship program that includes both classroom theory and on-the-job training. Four (4) or more years (or equivalent) of field or trade work experience as a journey-level mechanical pipe fitter, along with at least two (2) years of experience as a Foreman or General Foreman in a commercial or facilities operations setting; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred. Extensive experience with mechanical and hydronic piping installation systems. Proven ability to effectively manage all material procurement activities for assigned projects. Deep underground piping installation experience required. Experience working with mechanical equipment including chillers, boilers, pumps, heat exchangers, and related systems. Knowledge of start-up, testing, commissioning, and energizing procedures for mechanical equipment and piping systems. Ability to effectively manage project closeout processes, including punch lists, turnover documentation, and final inspections. Current and valid welding certifications required. Experience in the Design-Build industry is a plus. CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour Certifications, EM-385, and STS required (training can be provided). Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, isometric drawings, and coordination/BIM models. Computer literacy required (Microsoft Outlook preferred).
