Warehouse Supervisor

We are now hiring Warehouse Supervisors to join the team! If you're looking for long-term employment with a company you can grow with, this is the position for you. Job Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations with a focus on inventory accuracy, shipping, and receiving activities. This role ensures efficient labor management, safety compliance, and excellent customer service. The Supervisor leads and develops warehouse staff, enforces policies and procedures, and collaborates closely with management to meet operational goals and maintain a safe, productive work environment. Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise all warehouse staff and maintain regular communication with the Warehouse Manager. Oversee and coordinate all inventory control, shipping, and receiving activities to ensure accurate order fulfillment, timely deliveries, and proper documentation. Ensure accurate inventory counts, perform cycle counts as needed, investigate discrepancies, and maintain appropriate records to support inventory accuracy. Monitor and manage receiving and shipping schedules; ensure proper unloading, loading, and handling of materials and products. Perform or oversee clerk/inventory tasks related to receiving, shipping, and scheduling of inbound/outbound loads. Ensure all documentation is maintained per Keller and customer requirements. Maintain accurate payroll records including timely approval of timecards and time off requests. Communicate any issues with HR and adhere to all attendance policy standards. Coordinate new employee onboarding and training. Work with HR to complete new hire paperwork, assign safety training, and track retraining requirements. Assist with initial and ongoing forklift training, including individualized retraining to ensure daily safe equipment operation. Review and maintain all equipment inspection and maintenance records, reporting any issues immediately. Lead daily shift Huddleboard meetings to communicate departmental goals, review performance, conduct safety discussions, and set expectations (including warm-up stretches, Safety Training, KPIs, etc.). For food grade warehouses, lead a food safety culture. Audit and maintain food safety standards within a facility. Lead and participate in accident investigations and corrective actions. Administer drug testing as required by training and company policy. Ensure OSHA compliance, complete Behavior-Based Safety Observations, and enforce all safety requirements. Report any violations immediately. Build and maintain positive customer relationships to support service excellence and long-term business growth. Strategically plan and manage all warehouse functions—receiving, storage, shipping, order fulfillment—to maximize accuracy and minimize claims. Supervise daily warehouse operations including labor scheduling and space utilization, ensuring activities are executed efficiently and within budget. Analyze current and forecasted volumes to plan daily labor needs appropriately. Create and maintain a well-trained, cross-functional staff. Job Description The Distribution Center Department Supervisor is a frontline leadership role responsible for the direct oversight of a specific department.
