POSITION SUMMARY Drives gasoline or diesel-powered tractor-trailer combination to transport and deliver products, equipment, or materials. Operate equipment such as backhoes, front-end loaders, manlifts up to 135 ft., forklifts up to 55k, and other various equipment with knowledge of how to load on a trailer and safely tie down for transport. Drives truck to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicles in difficult situations such as in narrow passageways and hauling oversize loads. Inspects equipment for visible defects before and after trips. Interpret schedules for deliveries and pick-ups. QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE High School education or equivalent. Two (2) years safe tractor-trailer driving record. Must possess a valid “A” CDL and be able to obtain government driver’s license for size and type vehicles including forklifts and mechanic lifting devices.
