*Class A CDL Driver – Flatbed & Equipment Hauling* *Job Summary* We are seeking a dependable Class A CDL Driver to support operations for our specialized transportation fleet. This position involves operating a 22' flatbed truck to transport materials, equipment, and jobsite-related freight throughout the region. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and schedules. *Key Responsibilities* * Operate a 22' flatbed truck and other assigned equipment safely and efficiently * Transport materials, machinery, and equipment to and from customer and job sites * Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and promptly report maintenance concerns * Secure loads in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety standards * Coordinate with dispatch and operations personnel regarding schedules, routes, and delivery requirements * Assist with equipment pickups, deliveries, and positioning as needed * Maintain accurate driving logs and required compliance documentation * Follow all DOT, safety, and company operating procedures *Required Qualifications* * Valid Class A CDL * Clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR review * Experience operating flatbed trucks, trailers, or other commercial vehicles * Strong understanding of load securement and transportation safety requirements * Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules * Willingness to travel and accommodate occasional after-hours or urgent assignments *Preferred Qualifications* * Flatbed hauling experience * Experience transporting construction equipment or oversized materials * Familiarity with construction sites, industrial facilities, and jobsite operations * Basic mechanical knowledge of trucks, trailers, and hydraulic equipment * Experience working in a small business or growing transportation operation *Compensation* Compensation is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated reliability.
