Summary Objective The Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of equipment across multiple departments and external partners. This role ensures efficient supply chain operations, timely deliveries, cost control, and compliance with company policies while supporting project execution in a fast-paced environment. Essential Functions Coordinate domestic and support international shipments including scheduling, tracking, and reporting. Manage heavy haul logistics including routing, permitting, trailer types, and rigging concepts. Maintain accurate project schedules and align stakeholders to delivery requirements. Obtain quotes, manage vendor relationships, and track invoices against budgets. Collaborate with project managers and internal/external stakeholders to support project execution. Identify and mitigate risks related to transportation and delivery timelines. Drive advanced planning and scheduling across logistics operations. Develop and improve logistics processes, templates, and execution strategies. Own end-to-end shipment responsibilities including compliance and invoice review. DESCRIPTION The Sr. Operations Manager oversees all budgetary, people development, and operational objectives at the site. This role involves managing and leading a team of Operations and Area Managers, coaching and mentoring them to ensure performance objectives are met. The Sr. Operations Manager is also responsible for building and maintaining positive employee relations and developing leadership strength within the Fulfillment Center (FC). This position requires a strategic leader who can balance operational excellence with team development while driving results across all areas of the facility. Responsibilities: • Leads the development and implementation of quality improvement and process optimization initiatives, including Lean methodologies, to enhance operational efficiency within their functional area and enable the FC to consistently achieve and surpass business objectives. • Responsible for overall performance of either Inbound or Outbound operation, including safety, quality and customer experience • Sets and clarifies requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers.
