The Truck Operations Coordinator supports the Truck Operations team by coordinating with shippers and receivers the needed appointments and equipment needs, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth communication across departments. This role is key to maintaining accurate records, timely pickups/deliveries, and operational efficiency. The Coordinator also assists with city dispatch and some equipment pool management requests. Essential Functions Coordinate appointments for Northbound and Southbound traffic based on capacity. Route and match shipments for highest possible efficiency. Understand drivers hours and abilities to properly plan routing. Communicate with shippers, receivers, and customers with ETA’s, delays, updates in a timely manner. Work with Account Managers to ensure accurate information and planning capacity Open, sort, and distribute daily mail for Truck Operations. Additional Responsibilities Provide support to city dispatch as backup. Aid with equipment pool management. Planning new or discontinued equipment pool requests. Utilize multiple platforms/resources to provide fast and accurate information. Uphold and model company policies and values. Qualifications 2–3 years of office/ logistics experience strongly preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred. Experience in trucking, logistics, and/or accounting strongly preferred. Proficient with PCs; accurate typing, data entry, and spreadsheet skills.
