ABOUT THE ROLE The Regional Engineering Manager (REM) is a senior engineering role based in Jacksonville, Florida, with overall engineering oversight for the Americas region. This position is responsible for leading regional engineering operations, providing technical and operational governance/support across a multi‑site portfolio, and ensuring safe, compliant, reliable, and client‑aligned facility performance. In addition to regional responsibilities, the REM serves as the primary point of contact for Facilities Services at the Jacksonville office, with direct accountability for engineering and facilities outcomes at this location. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Regional Leadership & People Management Lead, develop, and manage a regional organization consisting of Operations Engineering Managers, Facilities Managers, and Workplace Experience administrative staff. Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and accountability across the regional engineering and facilities organization. Engineering Operations & Regional Oversight Provide overall engineering oversight for the Americas regional portfolio, including multi‑site facilities, campuses, and complex operational environments. Support site and regional teams in resolving escalated operational, maintenance, and technical issues. Oversee contractors, subcontractors, and engineering service providers across the region, including maintenance strategy, scope development, and performance management. Establish and govern preventive and corrective maintenance programs aligned with client operational requirements. Jacksonville Site Accountability (Dual‑Hat Responsibility) Serve as the primary point of contact for Facilities Services at the Jacksonville office. Ensure effective delivery of engineering, facilities, and workplace services at the Jacksonville site, including vendor coordination, service quality, and issue resolution. Partner with local stakeholders (including Landlord) and MGL leadership to ensure the Jacksonville office operates safely, efficiently, and in alignment with regional standards. Act as the escalation point for site‑level engineering and facilities issues. Systems, Controls & Asset Management Oversee the daily operation and regional governance of facility controls, building management systems (BMS), and asset management platforms (where needed and applicable) Review performance data, asset condition, and operational metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Standardize engineering methods, procedures, and operational practices across the Americas region to drive consistency and scalability. Stay current with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve regional performance. Client & Stakeholder Engagement Partner closely with the Director of Operations, Facilities Management, and account teams to align engineering delivery with business and client objectives. Engage with clients on regional engineering strategy, operational changes, reconfigurations, and risk mitigation initiatives. Serve as a trusted engineering advisor, translating technical complexity into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders. Financial, Risk & Compliance Management Develop, forecast, and manage regional operating and maintenance budgets across multiple locations. Ensure engineering resources and expenditures are managed effectively and aligned with organizational and account goals. Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, codes, regulations, and company policies. Promote a strong culture of safety, operational discipline, and proactive risk management across the region.
