This candidate will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases by turning tissue samples into microscope slides based on the Pathologist's needs and orders. This Histotechnologist needs to have strong fine motor skills and be incredibly detail orientated. This candidate must have comprehensive knowledge within a Histology lab and at least 1-2 years of experience working in either a research or Histology lab. Medical Technology experience is also required. A Histotechnologist at Baptist prepares tissue samples for microscopy examination by pathologists.
