Business Operations Analyst Snr

As a Business Ops Analyst Snr, you will control, analyze and manage project performance data to ensure contracts are within budget and on schedule. You will work closely with program managers and cross-functional teams to drive execution and optimal performance. This Business Ops Analyst Snr will report under the Planning Department and serve as the business partner to the Ship Repair Program Management team. This Snr Analyst will support active contracts. create, review and repair reports that compare budgets with actual expenses. Monitors and controls costs and schedules. Performs analyses and prepares reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated parameters. Prepares budgets and schedules and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as variance analysis. Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled. Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks. Will recommend, design, or develop revisions to the EVMS system. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate closely with program managers, control account manager, and cross-functional partners. Utilize Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles to proactively support contracts in execution. Manage and present all analytical data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasts. Supporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting requirements both internally and externally as required. Carry out miscellaneous EVM analysis as required and continually assess and improve EVMS reporting processes. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related degree with 8 years work or equivalent experience. Advanced Skill in Microsoft Office tools. Experience with and a expert understanding of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles. Experience as a program control analyst, program finance and/or other finance functional disciplines particularly in the management of large government acquisition contracts. Aptitude in project forecasting and analysis, particularly in a US Defense environment. Demonstrated problem solving and in-depth analytical skills. Ability to communicate and present EVMS data to other functions in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner. Strong interpersonal skills to influence diverse work teams. Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment. Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Possesses program control or finance experience in the Naval/defense industry. Advanced skill with Excel macros, VBA, and queries. Experience in Deltek, Cost Point, SAP, or other equivalent accounting software. Experience with Cobra, MPM, or other equivalent software a plus. Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $107952 - $183518 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. The Corporate Communications Associate is responsible for managing and executing internal and external communication strategies that enhance the company’s visibility, reputation, and employee engagement. Experience developing internal and external communications programs. Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences. Experience using various communications tools for intranet editing (SharePoint), metrics tracking (Google Analytics, email tracking software), graphics creation (PowerPoint, Photoshop) and video editing software preferred. Data Governance Analyst ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT As a Data Governance Analyst I, you will support the execution of VyStar’s enterprise data governance program through foundational governance activities related to metadata management, data quality, data privacy, and lifecycle management. This role operates within the 2nd Line of Defense and supports Enterprise Risk Management by assisting with data classification, application onboarding activities such as Microsoft Purview, and coordination across Data Owners, Data Stewards, Risk, Privacy, and key I.T. stakeholders.
