Under the direction of the Site Operations Manager and designated leaders, this position is responsible for all activities associated with the movement and handling of materials related to wood products in the yard/warehouse.. The shift will start at 8:00am. There is room for overtime and you can also drive your base pay rate higher as you master more and more skills. Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas. Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring accuracy for loading and shipments. Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers or containers. Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Perform pick and pack, light assembly, labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed. Keep appropriate records and reports to ensure proper inventory control and security measures are followed and maintained. May assist in physical inventories.
