Job Summary Coordinates and oversees districtwide health services programs, policies, and procedures to support student health, safety, and well-being. Serves as a liaison between students, families, and schools to review student history, determine needs, and ensure proper student placement. 4. Coordinates student transportation to and from school for medically fragile students. 5. Advises the district on health related issues to inform policy. 6. Provides administrative support to school based nurses, assist with school placement of personnel based on need. 7. Serves as a resource for staff for medical policies and procedures. 8. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Education: Master’s Degree from accredited college or university. This position includes the administration and supervision of approved immunizations in accordance with state regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Review, document, and verify donor information, immunization records, and test results in the donor management system (NexLynk). Classify donors into appropriate programs and monitor for adverse reactions, providing care as allowed by training and licensure. Consult with the center Licensed Physician regarding abnormal results, donor eligibility concerns, and immunization orders. Counsel deferred donors, ensure confidentiality, and refer donors to health departments when needed. Maintain accurate documentation such as Physician Communication Logs and donor eligibility assessments. Train as a Donor Center Technician I and serve as a QA Backup when needed. Mentor and train new Medical Professionals as a Designated Trainer to support workforce development. Support center compliance with SOPs, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
