Overview: To supervise the daily operations of designated pharmacy services and/or clinical activities of the pharmacy staff. To provide and support pharmaceutical care including medication dispensing, preventing, identifying and resolving drug-related problems, promoting optimal therapeutics, and medication education. To participate in the performance improvement, academic programs, and clinical research activities of the department. To serve as liaison to the medical and nursing staff. Qualifications: Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy -OR- Pharm D. degree (Doctor of Pharmacy) Preferred Education: Post-graduate residency training Necessary Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills. Supervisory skills. Attention to detail and ability to distinguish drug products. Fine motor coordination and manual dexterity. Computer skills and accuracy in calculations. Required Licensure/Certifications: Registered Pharmacist in the state of Florida OR Eligible for Pharmacist license in the State of Florida within 60 days of the date of hire/transfer Required Experience: 1-2 years - Practicing pharmacist.
