*Job Overview* We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Plant Manager and/or Quality Control Inspector to join our growing team in our Cast Stone Manufacturing Plant. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance by understanding each project that goes to the shop and assigns tasks accordingly to each department. This position will also entail overseeing the employees in the shop. This position also involves utilizing various inspection techniques and quality assurance processes to maintain our commitment to excellence. The Quality Control Inspector will work closely with production teams to identify areas for improvement and uphold industry standards. This candidate will be the final set of eyes before product is shipped. This position requires the ability to multi-task, problem solve and run the shop/plant. *Responsibilities* * Review each new project that comes to the shop and assign to mold makers. Checking molds and final product for accuracy, color/finish and quantity. * Conduct thorough quality inspections of products throughout the manufacturing process using vision inspection systems and calipers. * Routine checks/maintenance plans for machinery in shop. * Inventory of supplies/materials in shop on a weekly basis. * Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions for any identified quality issues. * Maintain documentation related to quality systems and inspections, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date. * Participate in the development and improvement of quality assurance protocols and procedures. * Assist in training staff on quality control processes and best practices. * Ensure adherence to safety regulations while performing inspections. *Qualifications* * Proven experience in quality inspection or assurance within a manufacturing environment. * Teamwork skills and ability to manage several departments and 15+ employees. * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively. * Strong communication skills to relay information from the office to the shop and vice versa. * Proficient in using hand tools and CNC machine. * Organization is a must. * Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining independence when necessary.
