Job Description: The Yard Labor position is responsible for the general support and maintenance of the yard with tasks such as tool inventory, maintenance of heavy equipment and trucks, and logistics and coordination of material deliveries at the branch Key Responsibilities Perform daily inspections, verify that equipment is in good mechanical and safe operating condition upon being checked in/out, and report any defects or needed repairs to supervisor. Responsible for red tagging equipment and tools that need repair. Assist drivers and mechanics with loading/unloading and preparing materials for jobs as necessary. Responsible for maintaining and verifying stock levels for re-ordering are accurate and appropriate. Operate small equipment and machinery as needed, such as a forklift, telehandler, skid steer, and/or loader to move materials, load and unload trucks, and use of basic hand tools. Maintain inventory, organization of yard, the materials & equipment, and assist with day-to-day operations. Regular cleaning and general labor duties of Branch Yard, Office, and Shop may include sweeping, shoveling, and overall cleanup-up of any area, and/or equipment. Pick up parts from local vendors, and/or deliver parts to job sites when needed. Assist other employees when needed and willing to cross-train in other positions. Constantly inspect finished product as it is being printed or packed to ensure quality. Help with rework as needed. Clean machine residue and perform minor troubleshooting to machine, as needed. Keep up to date with product codes and their descriptions to ensure accuracy of finished product. Perform packaging tasks in Blister and Display departments as needed. Work extended shifts and/or weekends, when necessary, which in most cases would occur during the Back-to-School seasons Ensure workspace and the surrounding work areas are neat and clean during and at the end of the shift. Performing routine required maintenance, repairs, and condition-based monitoring actions, including but not limited to correcting leaks, packing valves, and greasing fittings, glands, bearings, and reach rods. Performing shipboard engineering casualty drills, fire drills, collision drills, and all other duties as assigned. Maintaining the cargo and ballast lines and connection manifolds. Analyzing process train oil for water content using shake outs and process train gas for oil content using white rag tests and H2S content using Draeger tubes. Monitoring and tracking (daily) rates of treatment chemicals in topsides equipment and subsea. Tracking chemical inventory onboard the FPSO and at the dock. Carrying out any lawful command and delegated duty as issued by the Master, Chief Officer, delegated Officer of the Watch and Chief Engineer or delegate. Pressing copper/nickel alloy, some stainless steel, and Inconel. Operators must be able to do all their own die changes (1-3 per shift). Operate a saw for precise pipe cutting to length. Multi-axis, metal forming press experience is the most important. Hydro forming experience is a plus. Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Job Description The Quality Assurance Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the overall quality of products ordered, received, manufactured, stored, packaged, and sold. This role will perform all tasks as defined in specific inspection plans in a timely and efficient manner to ensure all products sourced and delivered are built to type design data. Primary Responsibilities Perform inspection duties utilizing engineering drawings, purchase orders, inspection travelers, work instructions, technical specifications, QA procedures and instructions, and other related documents. Conducts sampling inspections in accordance with approved plans and procedures. Perform conformity/first article inspections to ensure compliance with FAA approved procedures. Perform preliminary and progressive inspections of components and systems as needed, verify functional operation, and final inspections. Ensure the proper use and storage of inspection tools, measuring and test equipment. Conducts tests, inspections, based on specifications for design as required. Perform uninterrupted flow of acceptable materials to support manufacturing and customer on-time delivery. Participates in design reviews to ensure inclusion of quality requirements as needed. Provides activity and status reports to management. Participate in continuous improvement activities. Perform other duties as assigned. . Required Qualifications High School degree or GED. Eye Exam One year quality inspection experience or two years aerospace manufacturing experience. Basic math and computer skills for data entry and report generation. Basic understanding of engineering drawings, technical specifications, and inspection instructions. Ability to use standard measuring tools and inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) Familiarity with quality control procedures and documentation practices. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a Quality Control role, preferably in aviation, aerospace, or manufacturing. Familiarity with FAA regulations and standards, including Part 145 Repair Station procedures. Experience performing First Article Inspections (FAI) and Conformity Inspections.
