Understands duties and responsibilities are carried out for both assisted living and independent residents throughout the facility Note: The above duties include many of the tasks for LPN. At times it may be necessary to perform other duties as requested by the Director of Wellness. Refusal to perform any task as directed by leadership will be cause for disciplinary action. Qualifications: * Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program, currently licensed to practice per state. * Work experience in the geriatric field * Ability to communicate well and in writing. * Ability to deal with visitors, staff and residents in a courteous manner. * Ability to lift, push, pull up to 60lbs. * Strong organizational skills. * Must be able to work under pressure at times. * Must be able to perform good grooming practices, personal hygiene and be punctual and regular in attendance. * Must have warm, friendly, congenial personality. Must present a professional appearance and possess an empathetic attitude towards seniors. * Ability to assess a resident’s condition and intervene when needed. * CPR certified, or obtained within 90 days of hire and yearly thereafter. * May have their picture taken and image used in social media or community advertising. * May be video recorded from devices installed by families in residents’ apartments.
