This position offers a unique blend of on-the-road independence and in-pharmacy teamwork! In this role, you will be responsible for both kiosk management and working within our pharmacy operations, including driving from the Pharmacy to our Kiosk locations, refilling inventory and maintaining Pharmacy Kiosk Machines in regionalized areas. You will also be working in the physical Pharmacy location preparing orders for customer shipments. #everydaybetter Key job responsibilities • Drive from physical Pharmacy locations to our remote Pharmacy Kiosk locations with company provided vehicle • Refill Pharmacy Kiosks with medication and paper, clean machine, and collect discarded inventory for return • Prepare inventory shipments for Kiosk replenishment • Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the state board of pharmacy • Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules and regulations • Work daily with leadership to ensure the right medications are put in the right orders • Run automated machinery required to pre-sort and package medications • Fill exception trays with appropriate medication • Transition Amazon Pharmacy orders through different workflow stages from initial dispense through quality control • Count and fill prescription vials and affix labels on bulk prescription items • Pack and ship completed orders, including printing and affixing appropriate labels on dispenser and shipping boxes • Sort and triage the right boxes to ship at the right time • Aid the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, and packing • Clean and help maintain equipment and work areas within the pharmacy • Package medications for dispensing and for delivery • Work a flexible schedule - shifts will possibly start and end outside of normal site business hours Physical Requirements: During Peak/high demand, shifts last up to 12 hours (standard full-time shifts are 8-10 hours, excluding overtime): • Driving and transporting medications from Pharmacy locations to Kiosks for long periods of time (8+hrs) • Standing, bending, reaching above the head, kneeling, crouching and/or stretching • Lifting and moving products up to 49 lbs in weight • Manual dexterity of hands and wrists BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - High School diploma or equivalent - 6+ months of working with computer and web based tools experience - Must be at least 21 years old - Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in state of employment - National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA) - Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisor - Ability to read and understand English language labeling on product cartons and prescription labels - Active and unrestricted in-state driver’s license - Clean driving record that passes Amazon’s Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Checks (to be rechecked annually).
