Overview: RectorSeal is seeking an experienced Material Handler to operate both sit down and reach forklifts at our Palm Coast, FL facility. The Material Handler is responsible for the efficient and safe movement of materials within a warehouse or manufacturing facility. Pay Rate : $22.00 per hour PRIMARY JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES • Collect containers from health care offices • Drive vehicle to customer location along determined route collecting material for delivery to designated location • Report for and successfully complete all training as required • Prepare and report pre & post trip inspections • Maintain Driver’s Hours of Service Log as required • Review and sign manifests and shipping papers • Provide customer training (manifesting, packaging, etc) • Properly label, load and secure materials for transport • Clean, wash and refuel vehicle as needed • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS • Must have a good driving record within 3 years; no accident reported • Must have excellent customer service skills with other employees, customers and regulators • Must understand how to use computer for data entry • Must be able to use software app on mobile phone for manifest documentation • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills • Quickly adapt to changing business demands • Quickly grasp and adapt to new tasks, software and protocols • Must meet all applicable DOT and licensing requirements • Licensed for vehicle to be driven (min. Class C); Class A or Class B license also acceptable • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Medical Examiner’s Card (MEC) EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK • Able to work an agreed upon standard schedule • Additional hours as job duties demand TRAVEL - OTHER • Travel to domestic Trilogy facilities when necessary (less than 10%) • Must have a current, valid driver's license • Able to be insurable under our company's liability insurance policy WORK CONDITIONS Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
