Position Summary The Operations Manager is a member of the Store Management team, and as such, fulfills the company purpose of helping people on their path to better health by driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through a focus on excellent customer service. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business or a related discipline. 4+ years' experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment Demonstrated experience designing, implementing and managing lean warehouse and material replenishment systems (i.e., kanban setups) Proven experience as a hands-on leader who can effectively direct daily warehouse and material flow activities while building team engagement and accountability. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Technology, or related technical field. MBA is an asset. 5+ years in metal manufacturing operations Leadership experience managing supervisors and production/ fabrication teams. Strong knowledge of CNC punch, forming, and material flow. Experience with ERP systems (Infor SyteLine preferred). Proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, or similar data analytics tools is an asset. Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies. Familiarity with OEE and MES systems is an asset. Proven track record of improving KPIs (e.g., cycle time reduction, FPY improvements, DPU reductions, or cost-saving initiatives). Proven ability to develop, coach, and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring accountability and engagement. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with experience in using KPIs, root cause analysis, and Lean tools to drive decision-making. Hands-on experience in Lean manufacturing, value stream mapping, waste elimination, and production workflow optimization. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations and the flow of materials, from receipt of components through production support to final product shipment. The role ensures inventory accuracy, efficient material handling, and on-time delivery to support production and customer commitments. RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain control and accuracy over all inventories (raw material, WIP, finished goods), including material transactions, warehouse operations, and receiving activities. Responsible for accuracy of inventory counts by implementing and managing, in conjunction with Finance, an inventory control system, capable of identifying discrepancies in inventory counts and taking corrective action to guard against future inconsistencies. Participate as a member of the operations team in making cross-functional operational decisions. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by implementing, maintaining and aligning company policies that adhere to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations. The candidate will be expected to perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business or a related discipline. 4+ years' experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment Demonstrated experience designing, implementing and managing lean warehouse and material replenishment systems (i.e., kanban setups) Proven experience as a hands-on leader who can effectively direct daily warehouse and material flow activities while building team engagement and accountability.
