About the Position The Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse is responsible for enhancing the overall Resident and family experience through the provision of the nursing care and leadership required to ensure the health and well-being of residents who depend on Grand Living for assistance. Qualifications and Requirements The Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities: Associates Degree in Nursing, required. Three or more years’ nursing experience, preferred. Assisted living or home health care experience, preferred. Must be a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse in the state of employment, required Ability to obtain any government required license or certificate. Ability to read, write and understand the English language in order to educate, train and supervise staff; meet with residents and their families to facilitate appropriate assessments and development of personalized care plans; utilize and train others on operational software for delivery of care documentation and record keeping; and communicate with other employees effectively.
