Essential Responsibilities Responsibility % Of Time SERVICE: Creates an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated increasing confidence and loyalty. Manages Direct Store Delivery (DSD) ad plan, inventory and ensures merchandising is aligned with CMA requirements and current merchandising plan and maintained for in-stock conditions. Ensures the backroom, coolers, and freezers are organized and free of debris and the supply depot is maintained. Reports any invoice overages or shortages. 40% FINANCIAL: Ensures financial accuracy of all invoices. Completes daily and weekly administrative tasks (communications, online training, etc.) Maintains inventory/stocking conditions and reports any discrepancies in inventory. Reviews/inspects products for accuracy, quality and freshness and takes appropriate action with those items. Assist in the planning, and organizing of the inventory process. Enters and manages data for the movement of all supplies and equipment within LSl's Material Resource Planning (MRP) system. Maintains efficient warehouse operations to ensure that the company ships and receives vital stock in time to meet production schedules. Functions as a designated custodian to safeguard and administer government-furnished and customer-acquired equipment, property, and assets. Essential Job Functions • Plans delivery actions from system-generated and approved pick lists, and reservation schedules to ensure timely delivery of parts and material to the production floor. • Plans layout, maintenance and upkeep of the warehouse, stockroom and other storage areas, and consolidates existing stock to maximize space utilization. • Enters receiving and inventory data utilizing LSI Shop Floor Time (SFT) App and Deltek CostPoint through approved supply methods. • Maintains shipping and transportation records in compliance with required file retention guidelines. • Executes shared services within the supply chain management group to reconcile receiving and property discrepancies. • Via the LSI Shipping Suite – RMA Dashboard, assists with generating Return Material Authorization (RMA) requests for items classified as non-conforming. • Determines the best method of shipping by utilizing knowledge of logistics and shipping procedures, routes, and rates. • Monitor Open Floor Stock inventory weekly and report findings to Lead Supply Specialist. • Loads and unloads material from trucks. Packs and unpacks shipments; processes and organizes parts into computerized inventory control systems. Participates in government property management and surveillance audits. • Performs daily activities while maintaining best practices through proven logistics, supply, and inventory control methods. • Maintains good working relationship with management, production shop personnel, Engineering, Program Manager, and Quality Manager. • Must be capable of safely handling government-furnished equipment and materials. • Must be available to work a standard weekly schedule with overtime as required. • Perform other duties as assigned. Your Job Georgia-Pacific has an exciting opportunity for a talented Daily Operations Center Leader at our Palatka, Florida facility. Located just south of Jacksonville and west of St. Augustine, FL, the Palatka mill employs about 975 people has four retail paper machines which produce consumer tissue products such as bath tissue and paper towels, as well as two Kraft paper machines. The Daily Operations Center Leader is responsible for remote operation of the facility's day-to-day Pulping, Kraft Recovery, and Power Generation processes. Key focus areas include reduction of operating employee process interactions, finding and implementing transformational operating technologies, developing/deploying advanced controls, and leveraging data analytics to optimize the facility's operation. This position will work in the Pulp, Power, and Recovery Department and works closely with frontline manufacturing employees, process control engineers, supervisors, and external support resources in developing, implementing, and evaluating ongoing process optimizations through the implementation of advanced controls, data analytics, and automation.
