Job Description BAE Systems Maritime Solutions s currently seeking an eager, talented, and motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment to join our team as a Procurement Analyst II (Supply Chain Quality Management Specialist). The Supply Chain Quality Management Specialist will serve as a critical safeguard ensuring that the BAE Systems supply chain meets the rigorous quality and regulatory standards required for defense mission success. This role is responsible for ensuring that all suppliers maintain the necessary quality certifications and Quality Management Systems (QMS) required to meet company and regulatory standards. By managing the end-to-end supplier approval process and maintaining rigorous documentation across a large-scale portfolio, this position mitigates risk and ensures the integrity of the components and services entering our production streams. Key Responsibilities as a Supply Chain Quality Management Specialist include but are not limited to: Supplier Quality Compliance: Partner closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) department to verify that all suppliers possess current and valid quality certifications. Validate supplier QMS to ensure strict alignment with BAE Systems' quality requirements. Onboarding & Documentation: Manage the Ivalua onboarding portal, ensuring all required supplier documents are uploaded, accurate, and current. Proactively track expiration dates for certifications to prevent lapses in supplier eligibility. Approval Tracking: Utilize the departmental SharePoint site to track supplier approvals and maintain a comprehensive, audit-ready record of the approved supplier list. SOW Processing: Upon notification of a Scope of Work (SOW) change by a Buyer or Program Manager, process the required documentation and track the necessary approvals through SharePoint to ensure the supplier remains qualified for the updated requirements. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Recommendation: Act as the primary bridge between P&S and QA to streamline the communication of quality expectations to the supply base. Evaluate supplier documentation and provide formal recommendations to the QA department, who holds the final authority for approval or disqualification. Portfolio Management: Oversee quality compliance and documentation for approximately 2,000 suppliers across three shipyards. Success Metrics (KPIs) Compliance Rate: Maintain 100% compliance for supplier certifications to prevent production delays and regulatory findings. Onboarding Efficiency: Reduce supplier onboarding lead time by 90% through proactive document management and streamlined portal processing. Data Accuracy: Ensure zero discrepancies between the approved supplier list (SharePoint) and actual certification status in Ivalua. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain Quality, Quality Assurance, or Supplier Management, specifically within the defense or aerospace industry. Knowledge: Deep expertise in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and industry-standard quality certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100). Professional Certification: CQM (Certified Quality Manager) certification is highly preferred Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills with a high degree of precision regarding expiration dates and compliance documentation. Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for managing relationships with external vendors and internal technical teams. Workflow Management: Ability to manage multiple concurrent approval workflows across a high-volume supplier base. This role is suited for a procurement professional with solid sourcing and contract management experience who can execute effectively on day-to-day priorities while supporting broader procurement initiatives. Within the first 90 days, the Procurement Manager will conduct a review of the existing supplier portfolio, identify key cost and risk exposure areas, and present findings and recommendations to the Director. **This is an onsite role located in Jacksonville, FL** Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support and help execute IQ Fiber's procurement strategy, including sourcing policy, supplier selection criteria, contracting standards, and procurement KPIs such as cost savings, on-time delivery, contract compliance, and spend under management. Manage structured bid and RFP processes that ensure competitive sourcing and defensible vendor selection decisions; recommend improvements to procurement systems, tools, and workflows to increase efficiency and visibility as the company scales. Manage sourcing activities for fiber optic network construction materials, customer premise equipment, and related OSP operational supplies; conduct market analysis and make-vs-buy evaluations to inform sourcing decisions 6–12 months ahead of need. Negotiate and manage a portfolio of supplier contracts, securing favorable pricing, volume commitments, delivery terms, quality standards, and nondisclosure provisions; support supplier diversification efforts to reduce concentration risk. Monitor contract performance and hold suppliers accountable to agreed terms through structured review processes; manage vendor disputes and escalations with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach. Manage the supply forecast process, translating network build plans and operational demand signals into reliable supply plans on weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadences. Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks including lead time volatility, single-source dependencies, and market pricing shifts; analyze delivery performance and inventory trends to adjust plans ahead of disruptions. Partner with Warehouse Operations and Inventory teams to maintain alignment between procurement plans and on-hand stock levels. Serve as a key point of contact on procurement and supply chain matters, providing data-backed recommendations to leadership; collaborate with Finance, Operations, and OSP leadership to align procurement with business objectives and network build timelines. Lead, mentor, and develop junior procurement team members, setting clear expectations and building capability within the function. All other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field; equivalent professional experience demonstrating the same depth of knowledge will be considered. 5 years of progressive procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience, with at least 1–2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity. Demonstrated experience negotiating high-value supplier contracts, including multi-year agreements exceeding $1M in value. Experience in telecommunications, fiber optic internet, infrastructure construction, or a closely related industry; direct experience with OSP materials and fiber network construction supply chains preferred. Experience supporting or contributing to procurement process design, policy development, and KPI implementation; experience in a high-growth or early-stage environment preferred. People management or formal mentorship experience preferred. Experience evaluating, implementing, or optimizing ERP or procurement platforms such as NetSuite, Coupa, or similar preferred; professional certification such as CPSM or CPIM a plus. Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive sourcing strategy, forecast supply needs, and present recommendations to senior leadership. We pride ourselves on quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety. We have expanded our work in Jacksonville and looking for an experiences Crane Operator. Position Summary: As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes (e.g., mobile, tower, overhead, friction) to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment on construction sites or within industrial facilities. You must be able to interpret load charts, follow safety protocols, and work effectively with rigging crews and site supervisors. Key Responsibilities: Operate crane equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with manufacturer instructions and job site requirements Inspect cranes daily to ensure safe working condition and report any issues or defects Perform pre-operation and post-operation inspections of the crane and all equipment Calculate load capacities, weights, and boom angles using load charts Communicate clearly with riggers, signalpersons, and supervisors to ensure safe lifting operations Maintain compliance with OSHA, ANSI, and company safety standards Keep accurate records of maintenance and operation logs Assist with crane assembly/disassembly when necessary Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Valid NCCCO (National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators) certification or equivalent (required) Minimum 3 years of crane operating experience Familiarity with different types of cranes (e.g., crawler, tower, overhead, mobile) Ability to read and interpret load charts, blueprints, and site plans Strong awareness of safety regulations and procedures Physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License), (preferred) Friction crane experience a plus Benefits: Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for advancement
