We provide maintenance and logistic services to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) in support of this program. For over 35 years we have planned, coordinated, and executed the maintenance and logistic services for ground combat vehicles and support equipment for USMC Expeditionary Forces. Job Summary Manages the day-to-day operations, including coordinating the activities of employees performing Supply Chain functions (requisition management, material/property accounting, financial compliance, and disposing of equipment and supplies) in direct support of the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP). Responsible for executing the logistics actions necessary to accept, account for, and prepare equipment for shipment by supervising data entry personnel who are performing a wide variety of supply chain duties to obtain the maximum use of equipment and personnel in a safe environment. Determines the type and sequence of work assigned on the basis of work priority and availability of inventory and supplies.     *Job Overview* We are seeking an energetic and dependable Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team in the holiday peak season! November 23rd- Dec 4th. In this role, you will be the friendly face of our company, responsible for delivering products safely and efficiently to our valued customers. Your enthusiasm for driving, excellent customer service skills, and attention to detail will ensure every delivery is a positive experience. This role can be permanent, upon customer request. *Responsibilities* * Safely operate various types of vehicles including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices. * Plan and execute efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrival at each destination while maintaining accurate delivery schedules. * Load and unload merchandise with proper lifting techniques, managing heavy items safely and efficiently. * Communicate clearly with clients upon delivery, answer questions, and address any concerns professionally to foster strong customer relationships. * Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, route logs, and vehicle inspections in compliance with organizational policies. * Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, leveraging sales skills to enhance customer satisfaction and company revenue. * Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly. *Skills* * Proven experience in commercial driving, including route driving and automobile transportation. * Strong knowledge of pricing strategies and basic math skills for accurate billing and transaction handling. * Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination. * Demonstrated ability in retail store experience or merchandising to understand product placement and presentation. * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices. * Familiarity with DOT regulations, safety standards, and heavy vehicle operation requirements. * Organizational skills to manage deliveries efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. * Customer service orientation with a focus on building lasting client relationships. * Experience in sales or upselling techniques to maximize business opportunities.
