The ideal candidate will have experience in water resources engineering, infrastructure operations, and project management, with strong skills in data analysis, telemetry and SCADA systems, technical communication, and coordination of field activities and emergency response. What You'll Do Analyze hydraulic, hydrologic, operational, and telemetry data; establish quality checks and resolve data gaps. Develop advanced spreadsheets and decision-support tools and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for public web displays. Support telemetry and SCADA systems by reviewing data, alarms, and configuration records and coordinating troubleshooting and upgrades with vendors and integrators. Position and job performance affects customer service reliability, inventory levels, and overall gross margin of the business units - all in support of corporate and divisional performance targets. A. REPLENISHMENT • Analyze raw and finished goods demand data and determine supply strategies to meet customer needs while optimizing cost and inventory levels. Use forecast, market intelligence and economic trends to aid in decisions; issue production orders and monitor production to ensure on-time delivery from production site. • Perform On-time shipment review support, stock level maintenance, and supply chain coordination with other Symrise production sites and third-party toll manufacturers. • Coordinate with the production teams, purchasing team, commercial teams and others to ensure on-time delivery from production site. B. ORDER FULFILLMENT • Review and confirm customer orders against available inventory to meet requested delivery dates. Coordinate with customer service, commercial teams and operations teams as necessary to ensure the appropriate communication and resolution of issues. • Support commercial teams on the identification, disposition, and reporting of blocked stock and obsolete products and overall product life cycle evaluations. C. PROCESSES & SYSTEMS • Maintain appropriate master data information within SAP and other related systems and initiatives. • Prepare and present regular supply updates to the respective business unit. Identify and communicate supply risks to the business via regular multifunctional meetings. • Provide support for reporting relevant KPI in support of business plan activities. Duties Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and overhaul valves, actuators, pumps, and control systems Disassemble, inspect, measure, repair, and reassemble mechanical and electromechanical equipment Conduct functional and performance testing of equipment and assemblies Perform field service work aboard Navy ships, commercial vessels, and industrial sites Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, specifications, and manuals Complete service reports, inspection documentation, and maintenance records Use precision measuring tools and diagnostic equipment Assist with installation, commissioning, and startup of repaired or new equipment Identify equipment deficiencies and recommend corrective actions Maintain compliance with company quality and safety standards (QMS & PPE) Support continuous improvement initiatives and customer service objectives Travel as required for projects and emergency service calls Experience Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience (marine, industrial, or rotating equipment) Experience supporting Navy, shipyard, or industrial operations preferred Experience with manufacturers such as Rotork, Limitorque, Flowserve, Leslie, Eaton, etc. is a plus High School Diploma or GED required Technical or vocational training, military experience, or certifications preferred Qualifications & Technical Skills Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems Experience with valves, actuators, pumps, and fluid handling equipment preferred Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures using a systematic approach Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently and in a team environment Work Environment Shop, shipyard, industrial, and vessel-based work environments Exposure to varying weather conditions and industrial noise levels Overtime, travel (up to 50% around the Gulf area), and weekend work may be required based on business needs Requirements U.S. Citizen Ability to lift up to 75 lbs Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces Ability to perform repetitive hand movements and physical tasks Must be able to wear required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, respirators, steel-toe boots, etc.) Ability to safely work aboard ships and industrial facilities Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Training and professional development opportunities Career growth within a growing organization Equal Opportunity Employer Avail Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer and provides a workplace free from discrimination and harassment.
