POSITION SUMMARY: The Sorter is responsible for safely and efficiently processing incoming recyclable materials so that outbound commodities are acceptable for sale to various brokers or mills. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Sort and segregate recoverable materials (e.g., aluminum, plastic, glass, paper, etc.) from incoming waste. Deposit recoverable materials safely and efficiently into appropriate chute. Assist other sorters on an as-needed basis with heavy or bulky items. Follow all Company safety policies and procedures, including stopping the conveyor belt in emergency situations. Inspect incoming loads for unacceptable waste; remove unacceptable items as required. Communicate with equipment operators regarding incoming loads of special waste or other loads that require special attention. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Work within the guidelines of drawings, schematics, blueprints, route sheets, travelers, quality directives, technical engineering specifications, customer's requirements, and military standards. Layout and measure hole locations and centerlines on castings, forgings, and machine parts to maintain control of machining cycle during manufacture. Determine acceptance or rejection after inspecting parts, tools, instruments, or x‐ray film. Identify causes of defective conditions and test failures and prepare all appropriate documentation. Investigate cause of customer return failures. Perform inspections to applicable specifications within assembly, test, and shipping departments. Assist customer/government source inspectors as necessary. CALIBRATION Perform calibration on various types of semi‐complex measuring and test equipment. Set‐up calibration test conditions interpreting calibration procedures, specifications, manufacturing instructions or related documents. Document and evaluate historical data to determine calibration intervals. Diagnose and calibrate newly acquired equipment. NONDESTRUCTIVE TEST Perform daily, weekly, and monthly equipment and material checks. Perform pre‐inspection and post‐inspection cleaning. Set‐up equipment and conduct tests of a semi‐complex scope. Perform complete inspections in accordance with the applicable specifications, standards and other contractual documents. *Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our team. Experience with installing precast/cast stone, masonry work, waterproofing, restoration, painting or construction/masonry experience is preferred. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. If you have a mechanical aptitude, we are willing to train for this position. *Duties* * Construct, repair, and maintain structures made of brick, block, stone, or concrete. * Installing precast/cast stone onto structures. * Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently during construction operations. * Assist in the renovation of existing structures, ensuring adherence to design specifications. * Carry out installation tasks related to masonry work, including setting up forms for concrete pours. * Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, to ensure seamless project execution. * Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications. * Must be able to read plans/drawings and install precast properly. Must be able to grout/caulk. *Qualifications* * Proven experience in masonry work or a related field is essential. * Familiarity with plastering techniques and tile laying is preferred. * Experience in heavy equipment operation is a plus. * Knowledge of frame carpentry will be beneficial for collaborative projects. * Strong ability to read blueprints and understand construction plans. * Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. * Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
