JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for providing professional service and support for Huber Technology customers by performing field service installations, start up, repair and maintain HUBER waste water equipment. The Field Service Specialist, Industrial-Mechanical Repair Emphasis will work within the guidelines established by the Director of Service and/or President and will follow established procedures when representing Huber Technology. II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following represents a list of essential duties and responsibilities of a Field Service Specialist: (Other duties may be assigned) Responsible for installing, calibrating, configuring, testing, maintaining, evaluating, troubleshooting, pre-commissioning, commissioning and repairing as necessary, waste water equipment manufactured by, but not limited to Huber Technology equipment, pumps, motors, valves, polymer stations, etc. Perform scheduled maintenance or repair of the equipment and all other associated equipment Perform unscheduled maintenance or repair of the equipment and all other associated equipment Perform installation of the equipment at customer sites as well as conducting pre-installation assistance Review blueprints, plans, specifications and other customer documentation to prepare for startup or service. Responsible for on-site training of customer personnel to Huber Technology standards. Build customer relationship in a professional manner through solution-oriented communications and service, providing both on-site and telephone support. Work with engineering, project management group, spare parts group and management to resolve escalated problems Provide written reports to the Director of Service on all activities carried out on site and complete all required documentation in a timely manner. Provide expense reports to the Director of Service on all expenses occurred out on site and completes all required documentation in a timely manner. Make technical recommendations to maintenance technicians and or treatment plant operators. Work closely with the Director of Service, Aftermarket Sales Team and Operations Team, to ensure that site work is carried out in the required order, for completion by the required time. To develop and maintain at all times due regard for safe working practices on site and to report any breaches of health & safety manners to the Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator and/or the Director of Service. To undertake any appropriate technical activities that may not be related directly to site, as may be allocated to you from time to time by the Director of Service. To ensure that materials, tools and equipment provided to you to carry out your work are kept safe, secure and in good order. Ensure all tools and equipment is relevant, up to date and calibrated in accordance with Huber Technology requirements. Assist when needed in manufacturing or engineering with customer projects as well as unit refurbishment or replacement at the customer site or Huber Technology manufacturing facility. Responsibilities: Electrical Design & Technical Support Perform electrical engineering calculations and design tasks with increasing independence. Support the development of electrical plans, technical specifications, reports, permits, and construction documents. Apply electrical engineering principles and applicable design standards to project assignments. Use CADD, BIM, modeling, and other engineering design platforms to complete design and analysis tasks. Conduct field investigations and inspections, collecting and interpreting information needed to support design and construction. Provide construction-phase support, including field observation, documentation, and coordination with contractors and project teams. Prepare clear and accurate technical documentation, reports, memos, and correspondence. Project Delivery & Quality Take ownership of routine and recurring project assignments and anticipate upcoming project needs. Monitor assigned task budgets and schedules and communicate progress, potential challenges, and changing priorities to Project Managers and Team Leaders. Contribute to project quality through careful review of your own work and participation in team QA/QC processes. Support the preparation of technical reports, studies, evaluations, and assessments through data collection, analysis, and interpretation. Identify potential risks to project scope, schedule, budget, or quality and communicate them proactively. Look for opportunities to improve project workflows and team efficiency. Client & Team Collaboration Maintain proactive communication with Project Managers, Team Leaders, and multidisciplinary project teams. Participate in client meetings with increasing independence and contribute to technical discussions and project updates. Coordinate professionally with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and other project stakeholders. Support preparation of client-facing materials and independently respond to routine project questions as appropriate. Share technical knowledge and provide informal guidance to less-experienced staff. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment through communication, knowledge-sharing, and reliability. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program 2+ years of relevant post-graduate electrical engineering experience EIT/FE certification based on applicable Florida state requirements Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles and design practices Experience with engineering design software and platforms applicable to electrical design Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to interpret technical information and translate it into accurate project deliverables Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing and client correspondence Ability to manage priorities across multiple assignments Ability to complete familiar assignments independently with limited supervision Strong attention to quality, schedules, and project budgets Willingness to support and share knowledge with junior staff Ability to travel occasionally based on project needs Work Authorization This position requires authorization to work in the United States for any employer. SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental (SSE) is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer (Structural) to support the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Southeast (NAVFAC SE), Production Design Construction Division (PDC4) at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, FL. The Senior Civil Engineer (Structural) will provide specialized structural engineering support and consultation for the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of Navy, Marine Corps, and other supported facilities. The position requires advanced structural engineering expertise supporting a wide range of shore and waterfront facilities. Duties/Responsibilities: • Provide specialized structural engineering support for new construction, renovation, MILCON, demolition, maintenance, and facilities development projects. • Apply advanced structural engineering concepts and principles to complex shore and waterfront facilities. • Support projects involving piers, housing, medical and aviation facilities, bulkheads, quays, dry docks, and other Naval facilities. • Evaluate complex structural engineering requirements and develop innovative technical solutions. • Coordinate with project stakeholders and multidisciplinary architectural and engineering teams. • Prepare technical analyses and recommendations and present proposed designs and study results.
