Get Lost in Fall

Looking for somewhere that has everything fall all in one place? Check out MAZE DAYZ at the Cowart Ranch and Farms in Bunnell from October 6th-29th! Get lost in their corn maze, find the perfect pumpkin, hop in the tractor to take a hayride, or make a furry friend with the farm animals. Stroll through the local produce and vendor booths to support the local community, too. There’s something for all ages to enjoy.

Get a group together and head to West Jacksonville’s Congaree and Penn for Fall at the Farm from October 5th-29th – dine among the grapevines, purchase a farm pass to explore the grounds, and take pictures in the pumpkin patch, complete with an onsite bar serving Congaree and Penn’s Farm Cider, among other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Set off on a “sunset cruise” (aka wagon ride tour) or schedule a goat greet to make the night even more special.

Find more fun on the farm at Conner’s A-MAIZE-NG Acres in Hilliard or Amazing Grace Family Farms in Green Cove Springs.

Let The Flavors of Fall Take Flight

Sure, pumpkin spice is a fan favorite when it comes to this time of year. Broaden your horizons with the fall coffee flight at Sipper’s Coffeehouse in Southside Jacksonville! With fun flavors like pumpkin praline, s’mores, peach cobbler and more, you’re bound to find a new favorite this season. Sip, sip, hooray!

Looking for something a little stronger than coffee? No problem! With all the local breweries around the region transitioning to their fall menus, there’s seasonal brews galore. Add a pumpkin ale to a beer flight at Hoptinger, grab an Oktoberfest beer stein at Wicked Barley Brewing Co., or find some time to soak in the crisp air with a crowler in hand at Hyperion Brewing Company’s beer garden.

Let’s Get Spooky

Get ready to scream at 13th Floor in Jacksonville’s Arlington neighborhood! With multiple haunted houses to walk through (or run if you’re ready to flee!), axe throwing, and escape games, it’s easy to spend a whole night there.

Summon the spirits and indulge in their secrets on the Amelia Island Ghost Tour. Take in the history of Fernandina Beach while walking throughout the streets, ending in the cemetery for some final frights. Make sure you don’t let a ghost, like the infamous pirate Luis Aury, follow you home! Also, with the nation’s oldest city of St. Augustine, there are plenty of ghost tales to haunt your dreams from Ghosts & Gravestones to haunted pub crawls.

Frights not really your thing? Spooktacular at the Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens is the perfect low-key Halloween event happening on select nights in October. Each Spooktacular night, there is family-friendly fun and activities for all ages – trick-or-treat throughout the zoo, test out the scare zones, watch the animals come out at night, and dance the night away with DJ. Costumes encouraged!

Got Sweets?

At Downtown Jacksonville’s Sweet Pete’s Candy Shop, there’s tons of “hall-o-sweets” to enjoy! Sip on a wickedly delicious candy cocktail at the Fizzies & Fare Restaurant before joining their seasonal Sugar Skulls & Sangria class to celebrate the day of the dead with friends. Kids will also enjoy their Smashing Pumpkin or the Fall Apple classes.

Throughout every season, there’s tons of activities across the region to Find Your JAX and get in the spirit!
