Job Summary Patient Services Leads are responsible to coordinate patient meal service and special requests and needs for the Patient Dining Program. Ensure that Patient Dining Associates are adequately trained and that units are properly staffed to provide service. They are a huge part of creating a culture of comfort and compassion in the healthcare environment, taking care of patients’ special requests and nutritional needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversees systems and processes to ensure that the strategic and operational objectives of the Patient Dining Program service are accomplished. Supervise Patient Dining Associates and ensure they provide services that include helping patients make menu selections, assemble, and deliver/pick-up their meal trays. Work with the caregivers and culinary team to determine menu alternatives for patients with food allergies and sensitivities; cultural, ethnic and religious preferences; or when a patient inquires about additional selections. Interacts with nursing and evaluates on a daily basis patient meal selection, tray completion, tray delivery and tray retrieval process. Is responsive to patients' needs at all times. Communicate problems or concerns with patients to appropriate personnel in a timely manner, following department procedures. Assist dietitians, such as helping monitor patients who cannot eat food through their mouth, are on liquid diets or have a specific calorie count to manage. Adhere to facility confidentiality and the patient’s rights policy as outlined in the facility’s Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) policies and procedures. Complies with regulatory agency standards, including federal, state and JCAHO. Follow Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines, a prevention based food safety system for meal assembly and distribution. Comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations, as well as department sanitation procedures. Complete all daily, weekly or monthly reports as outlined in the Morrison Healthcare policies and procedures. A key component of this position is the ability to evaluate environmental conditions and regulatory requirements and develop practical, technically defensible strategies that achieve project objectives while minimizing unnecessary investigation, regulatory exposure, and remedial expenditures were supported by site conditions, risk assessment, and applicable regulations. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, project management, regulatory knowledge, client relationship skills, and business development capability. The Senior Environmental Project Manager will also provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior environmental professionals and support the growth of BLE's environmental services. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline; Master's degree preferred. Primary Responsibilities · Experience with medical device repair and maintenance · Proficiency in laser technology. · Maintains an average repeat call rate of 5 % or less. · Takes a leading role in account management. · Addresses 100 % of PM’s by contacting customers. · Initiates contact with inactive accounts to generate new service business. · Responsible for all daily logistical matters and departmental tasks as assigned. · Maintains personal inventory location with 5 % variance. · Performs installations and service repairs. · Responsible for providing field support on Candela equipment in and out of an assigned territory. · This support includes installs, repairs, upgrades, preventive maintenance, workshop/show support and removal of equipment. · 100% traveling position. The FSE may be gone from their home base up to 5 days per week with both in and out of territory service calls. · Weekend work required to support trade shows, workshops and customer repairs. Must be able to travel on Sunday night for an early Monday service call as required. · Responsible to sell service contracts. 100% participation required for all monthly contract and warranty expirations. · Responsible to provide a high level of communication to Dispatching, their Regional Manager and customers. · Responsible to maintain an accurate inventory of trunk stock parts. · Focus of this position is to attain a high level of performance in customer service, repair work and contract sales. A strong focus on developing account management skills. · Candidates must be highly organized, highly motivated and require minimal supervision once fully trained.
