Even with 220 days of sunshine, Northeast Florida still sees its share of rainy afternoons that call for indoor activities. Lucky for us, the region is home to multiple indoor attractions that are fun for all ages! From museums to arcades, there is something to do no matter what you’re in the mood for. Guests will leave Ripley’s Believe It or Not with hundreds of fascinating facts thanks to the museum’s unique artifacts and crazy stories. This spot also offers interactive exhibits for their visitors, adding an extra layer of excitement to the experience.

Beach Bowl has been a Jacksonville Beach staple since 1959, but just recently has undergone a MAJOR glow up! This venue offers 24 bowling lanes for you and your friends to enjoy, multiple bars and even a patio lounge that serves up some tasty bites. There’s also live music and special events on select days!

With axe throwing, an arcade and a virtual reality escape room (plus so much more!), the Train Station is a one-of-a-kind spot in Callahan! You can also reserve this entertainment center for private parties and events.

If you’re a history enthusiast, you will love the Old Jail Museum in St. Augustine. Step back in time and see what this jail was like in the 19th century. Plus, this museum offers a haunted ghost tour after hours (if you’re feeling brave enough!).

From vintage pinball machines to all of the arcade classics, Keg & Coin offers nostalgic fun for everyone.  This retro arcade also has a wide selection of beers, ciders and seltzers, which pairs perfectly with a round of your favorite game.

FYJ Pro Tip: This arcade is open for all ages until 9 PM, then 21+ till 2 AM!

In the mood for something adventurous? Challenge your friends and family to a race at K1 Speed. This indoor go-kart track allows guests to reach up to 45 MPH and there is also a Junior Karts section for kids under 4’10, making it the perfect spot for the whole family!

Although this museum has gorgeous gardens to explore on a sunny day, there’s plenty to check out inside on the rainy days. With more than 5,000 pieces of beautiful art and a variety of interactive exhibits, guests can easily spend the entire day inside this museum.
