Explore the Outdoors More
There is no better place to be than JAX if getting outdoors is your new year’s goal! With an average of 220 days of sunshine and endless parks and beaches, JAX is the perfect spot to enjoy the outdoors. If sitting in the sand and enjoying the salty air sounds fun to you, Northeast Florida has multiple beaches for you to explore… plus, if you have a furry friend, a lot of the beaches are pet friendly! If exploring an attraction is more your speed, there are multiple to choose from in JAX, including the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens and the Jacksonville Arboretum.
Looking to get outside and enjoy some sports? Northeast Florida is home to multiple sports teams that you can cheer on while taking in some sun like the Jacksonville Jaguars and Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp.
