Overview: Job Purpose ICE Mortgage Technology (IMT) is seeking a visionary and hands-on Development Director to lead the strategic direction and execution of our API and Data product sets within the Servicing segment. This high-impact role requires a unique blend of technical acumen, product strategy, domain expertise, and leadership to drive digital and AI transformation and accelerate value delivery through an API-first approach. You will be responsible for defining and executing the roadmap for scalable, secure, and high-performing APIs and data services that power the future of mortgage servicing. This role demands a dynamic leader who can wear multiple hats—strategist, technologist, evangelist, and execution driver. Responsibilities Define and lead the API and Data strategy for IMT’s Servicing segment, aligning with business goals and industry trends. Drive modernization of legacy systems, enabling scalable and cloud-native solutions. Establish and enforce API design guidelines, domain and data modeling standards, and governance frameworks. Build and maintain a sustainable API framework, integrating legacy services and introducing new APIs. Proven experience in Financial Services, Mortgage Servicing, or FinTech is highly desirable. Deep expertise in API Management platforms (e.g., Apigee), RESTful API design, and microservices architecture. Strong understanding of API security standards (OAuth, OpenID Connect), asynchronous messaging, and cloud-native technologies. Deep experience with Java/SpringBoot, .NET, AWS services, and integration technologies.
