The Lab Technician is responsible for the collecting and processing of specimens from patients documenting results according to established procedures. This position assists with performing specimen analysis, instrument maintenance, and quality procedures as indicated while following quality assurance and safety policies and procedures. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: Collects viable and appropriate specimens from patients as ordered. Circulates, scrubs, and records diagnostic and interventional procedures for adult interventional, heart failure, and pulmonary services. Operates appropriate medical equipment and software.
