The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setup and operating of conventional and special purpose machine tools to machine metallic parts and wheels. Operating industrial machinery, which can include hydraulic press, grinder, borer, drill press, CNC, vertical lathes, or overhead crane. 2. Plans mode of operations and sets up to produce machine components. 3. Selects, aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, welders, attachment accessories and materials on presses, welders, cutting tools, and rollers. 4. Performing proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories. 5. Setting tolerance levels and cutting speeds. 6. This role requires independent operation of welding equipment, the ability to manage and adjust parameters, and the skill to read and interpret welding drawings and symbols. STRUCTURE The Hot Air Welding Operator reports directly to the Team Lead and Production Supervisor RESPONSIBILITIES Perform consistent welds that comply with quality standards. Correctly set and manage welding parameters such as voltage, current, and speed. Work independently on basic welding processes (MIG, TIG, STICK, as applicable). Read and interpret welding drawings and symbols accurately. Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and use PPE correctly. Identify and report welding issues beyond simple defects. REQUIREMENTS Proven ability to perform consistent welds meeting quality standards. Familiarity with MIG, TIG, or STICK processes (as applicable). Ability to set and adjust welding parameters independently. Knowledge of welding symbols and drawings. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision. EXPOSURE This position may involve working with adhesives, heat tools, welding consumables, and industrial materials.
