Located in Mayport, Safe Harbor Seafood dishes up some of the freshest seafood in all of the region. Not only do you get to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful views of the water while dining here, but you also get to see the boats that catch their seafood daily… and if you are there at the right time, you might catch them unloading the fish! From their popular “Safe Harbor Baskets” to their delicious tacos, this restaurant has a wide variety of seafood dishes. This is definitely a must-try in Jacksonville.

Whitey’s Fish Camp is a family-owned restaurant that opened back in 1963 and offers stunning water views. No matter what you are in the mood for, Whitey’s has you covered – some of their most popular dishes are the “‘All-U-Can Eat’ Whole Catfish” and “Fish-N-Chips.” Next time you are in Fleming Island , make sure to add this beloved local spot to your list!

Sunset Grille has a quote from Virginia Woolf on their website that says, “one can not think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.” They must have taken this saying and ran with it, due to the tons of tasty seafood dishes that they offer! This restaurant offers dish choices like sandwiches and pastas, but some of their more popular dishes are the “ahi tuna” and the “peel ‘n eat shrimp.” Sunset Grille is located in St. Augustine Beach and is a great spot to stop at after a day at the beach.

If you’re in Fernandina and in the mood for something casual, then  Timoti’s Seafood Shak is the perfect spot for you. This restaurant has picnic style benches and a covered outdoor seating area. Their dishes span from seafood baskets to sandwiches and no matter what you choose, they are all delicious!

A Tip from Find Your JAX: If your group has kids, make sure to check this spot out as it has a play set right next to the seating area. So, when you are waiting for your food, your kids will get the chance to play and get some of their energy out!

This restaurant also has a location in Ponte Vedra Beach.

Looking for somewhere a little bit more elevated? North Beach Fish Camp is located in Neptune Beach at the Beaches Town Center and is a great option for some upscale vibes. This restaurant offers a a big spread of fresh appetizers and main dishes that your taste buds will love. From their “Low Boil For Two” to their “Salt & Pepper Seared Tuna,” no matter what you’re craving, this restaurant will leave you satisfied and excited to come back.

This restaurant also has many other locations throughout the region: St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra Beach and Julington Creek 

Out on the boat in Palatka? Corky Bell’s Seafood is the ideal spot to stop! This restaurant is located right on the water and allows you to use their ramp to park your boats while you’re dining there. Not only does Corky Bell’s offer a stunning view of the water, but their seafood dishes are to die for. From their popular appetizer dishes, such as their “gator tail” and “crab stuffed mushrooms,” to their a la carte seafood. So next time you are boating along the gorgeous St. Johns River and get hungry, make sure to take a pit stop here.

If you’re looking for somewhere with one-of-a-kind views and a unique atmosphere, the Funky Pelican is a great choice! This restaurant is located on the Flagler Beach Pier, so that means you will get to take in the stunning seascape during your meal. Not only does the Funky Pelican offer delicious lunch and dinner options, but this restaurant also serves up multiple breakfast dishes. From their “crab cake benny” to their “shrimp & grits,” this is a spot all seafood lovers need to try.

Located in Maccleny, Sam’s Crystal River Seafood has a huge selection of different types of seafood. Just a few of the dishes they offer are crab, lobster, snapper and catfish.  Still can’t decide what kind of seafood to get? This restaurant offers duos and trios, so you can sample multiple types of seafood all in one meal… so make sure to come to this restaurant with a big appetite!

Harry’s Seafood Bar & Grille is the perfect mix of seafood and signature New Orleans cuisine. This St. Augustine restaurant is right next to the Ponce de Leon Circle and in front of the Matanzas River. Not only does Harry’s have an amazing ambiance, but they also have live, local music on select nights. Some of their signature dishes are the “Lobster, Shrimp & Grits,” “Low Country Curry” and “Shrimp & Scallops Orleans.” This is a must-try for anyone that loves those delicious New Orleans flavors!

Not only does the Down Under Restaurant have amazing seafood dishes, but it also has a stunning water view that gives you the chance to see a wide variety of wildlife. From alligators to manatees, Down Under Restaurant guests have seen it all! This restaurant also has an array of dishes, such as their “Tuna Sandwich” and “Oyster Rockefeller.” Next time you are in Fernandina, make sure to check them out.
