We are BIG ENOUGH TO SERVE, and SMALL ENOUGH TO CARE. *This position is considered safety sensitive and is subjective to drug testing, including cannabis SUMMARY: The Warehouse Assistant - Driver is directly responsible for the timely and accurate delivery and pick-up of customer products. In addition, this person will also assist with general Warehouse duties as needed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Personally exhibits, recruits and coaches associates consistent with Core Behaviors Responsible for promoting culture of safety Deliver and pick-up customer products in a timely manner Perform daily safety inspections Verify signatures and appropriate paperwork is collected Notify appropriate supervisory personnel of any discrepancies in a timely manner Receive and verify incoming shipments against packing slips Accurately sort, maintain, and stage product Put away stock ensuring proper labeling and placement Receive purchase orders, pick product and package for shipping Check items to be shipped against picking ticket to assure quantities, destinations and routing are correct Perform other duties as assigned Perform all work in accordance to ISO processes and procedures QUALIFICATIONS: Must be proficient with knowledge of routes Must have strong customer service skills Must have excellent time management skills Must be able to communicate effectively Must have knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma required No previous experience is required; 1-3 years experience is preferred CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must have valid driver’s license WORK ENVIRONMENT: Employee is regularly required to speak and understand English, stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms. Employee is required to use computer or other equipment. Employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to _50_ pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to clearly focus vision. PPE REQUIRED: Eye protection, hearing protection, foot protection with metatarsal guard, puncture proof gloves.
