Why JAX?

The thing I love most about JAX is the people. Just in my one year of being down here, I’ve met lifelong friends. The community down here that I’ve surrounded myself with is so supportive and encouraging. I also love how active the community is. I don’t think I could ever get bored down here.

Hidden Gem in JAX

• I know this might be a chain, but I love the Metro Diner on Baymeadows Road. It’s a very small, homey-feel kinda place and I love their outdoor seating and their cinnamon roll pancakes!

Favorite Community Activity in JAX

• I love Friendship Fountain; it’s only about 10 mins from where I live and it is so beautiful at night. They always have food trucks and live music, or some sort of activity going on.

Why Other Young Professionals Should Move to JAX

I would tell young professionals to come to Jacksonville because it offers a growing job market with a variety of opportunities. The city provides a dynamic environment for various types of careers. Additionally, the cost of living is relatively affordable compared to other major cities, making it a viable option for young individuals.
