Pop-Up Bars

Located in San Marco, Grape and Grain Exchange truly “deck the halls” and turn their bar into a winter wonderland with the Miracle Pop Up. All their decorations will instantly make their guests get in the holiday spirit. This bar also offers a multitude of seasonal drinks that come in festive glasses.

Grey Matter Distillery takes decorating to a whole new level! Each year, this bar picks a new theme based on holiday stories or movies and completely transforms their space to match the vibe. This year’s theme is… the Grinch! With all their fun drinks, this spot is perfect for a night out.

St. Augustine is a great spot to feel the magic of the holidays due to their beautiful light displays. Did you know that some of their bars get in the spirit too? Forgotten Tonic has festive lights and decorations in their bar, as well as delicious drinks like their “Christmaspolitan” and “snowball old fashioned.”

Holiday Markets

On December 10th, Murray Hill will be having their second annual farm and flea holiday market. This market will feature over 50 vendors that will all be selling unique goods perfect for holiday gifts. Not only can you shop at this market, but it is also a great chance to meet other people in the community!

A market that was originated in Germany has come to Jacksonville! On select dates in December, locals can come and explore different vendors, taste different foods, all while sipping on delicious drinks (including the classic mulled wine!)

The Cummer Museum is a Jacksonville classic… and during the winter, they offer tons of festive events. Say “cheers!” to the winter season at their champagne & shopping holiday events on select days this month. At each event, the museum will have a new selection of trunk shows that feature local businesses. Stay tuned to see which vendors they will have each night!

If you’ve never been to St. Augustine during the holiday season, 2025 is the year to change that! During the winter, the nation’s oldest city is covered with beautiful lights all around the downtown area. There are so many tours offered for guests to explore the decorations, including one done by the Grinch himself!

If you’re an animal lover, the Jacksonville Zoo also gets in the merry spirit with their “colors of the wild” event happening during the winter season. Explore the Zoo after hours all lit up with beautiful light fixtures based on the different animals that are located there.

FYJ Pro Tip: On select nights, you can also meet Santa Clause!
