Be sure to take advantage of the audio tour as you walk through the site for a deeper understanding of its history. Even better, admission is completely free.

Camping Spots

Whether you’re a tent, RV or cabin person while camping, this park offers it all. In addition, there’s hiking and biking trails, fishing spots and just a walk away from the ocean.

Ready to elevate your camping experience? At Camp Chowenwaw Park, you can skip the traditional tent and spend the night in a treehouse — yes, a real treehouse. This unique stay adds a memorable twist to your outdoor adventure and makes your camping trip truly one of a kind.

If you want to be right next to the beach, Little Talbot Islands Campground is the place to be. Take a swim during the day, then sleep under the stars and listening to the beautiful ocean sounds at night.

Summer Sports

Take me out to the ball game (in Northeast Florida)! Spend a summer night at the VyStar Ballpark cheering on Jacksonville’s minor league baseball team. Grab a snack, enjoy the view and show some team spirit.
