Looking for the ideal location for your next photoshoot? Look no further! JAX has a wide variety of spots that make for the most beautiful shots. From a beach filled with beautiful tree skeletons to an amazing sunflower field, there is something for whatever vibe you are going for.

Waterfront Spots

JAX is known for its vast array of waterscapes. There are several options for waterfront photoshoots in JAX! Beaches are surely a popular option, but there are also many rivers and lakes that make for a great backdrop as well:

Big Talbot Island State Park

Big Talbot Island State Park is home to Boneyard Beach, which is an iconic spot for photos in JAX. Not only is this beach beautiful, but the weathered trees, exposed roots and driftwood scattered along the shoreline make for a unique scenery.

Jacksonville Beach

No matter what beach in the region you choose for your photoshoot, they are all beautiful locations! The wide sandy shores, dynamic skies and vibrant coastal atmosphere offer opportunities to get a flawless shot.

If you are looking for something that goes beyond the ocean, Jacksonville Beach is home to multiple murals. These murals change all the time and are located on various buildings. If you’re looking for something to make your photos pop, check them out!

Riverfront Park

Riverfront Park is the perfect mix of nature and waterfront. Located in San Marco, this park has multiple spots that make for gorgeous photos. This spot even has a view of the Downtown Jacksonville skyline. Here’s a tip: visit this park at sunset (you won’t regret it!).

Nature Locations

JAX is known for its expansive nature landscape. From state parks to historic preserves, Northeast Florida has got you covered:

Treaty Oak

Treaty Oak is located in the Jessie Ball duPont Park in the Southbank area. This 250-year-old tree is 70 feet tall and has multiple branches that spread out to the ground. Treaty Oak is absolutely stunning and is a great spot for all different photoshoots!

Camp Milton

Located in Jacksonville, Camp Milton is an ideal spot if you want to be surrounded by nature in your photos. At this historic preserve, you will find boardwalks, tall grass, beautiful trees and even a rustic, gray barn. This preserve is open 7 days a week from 7am to 8pm.

Flower Fields

From early morning to late afternoon photoshoots, flower fields are always a good choice. Here are some flower fields in JAX:

Conner’s A-Maize-Ing Acres Farm

Conner’s A-Maize-Ing Acres Farm in Hillard is home to a beautiful sunflower field during the summertime. These flowers stand tall, and they are also able to be picked. Visit their website to learn more about their schedule.

During the fall, this farm also has a pumpkin path and corn maze, which makes for fantastic pictures as well!

Wesley Wells Farm

Located in St. Augustine, Wesley Wells Farm is the largest “you-pick” farm in St. Johns County. This farm is also home to an amazing sunflower field during the springtime. During the fall and winter, they also have different décor and produce that make for great photos. Wesley Wells is open every Saturday from 9 am to 12 pm.

Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens

The Cummer Museum is a popular spot in Downtown Jacksonville due to its beautiful art and outdoor area. Their garden area has a water fountain and gorgeous florals, which makes it look so elegant… plus it overlooks the St. Johns River!

St. Augustine Historic District

Friendship Fountain

Located a little bit west of Main Street in Jacksonville is the Friendship Fountain. This large fountain flows water every day from 8am to 10pm, and it’s lit up by colorful lights at night. In addition to this amazing fountain, you will also get the perfect view of Downtown Jacksonville as well as the St. Johns River in your photos.
